back from japan.

so okays.. my trip to japan was awesome. was hot and rainy at times.. but yes it was worth it.
i flew JAL- japan airlines from london heathrow to tokyo narita.
and back. :D
*note to self. take aisle seat when possible unless going with bunch of 2 other friends. - it's hard to go to the loo when u have to crawl over ppl.
** make sure to ask for seats next to pretty japanese girls who speaks english. - i got stuck with a fat spanish man who couldn't really speak english. then on the way back i got stuck with 2 old japanese ladies who one of them kept elbowing me when sleeping. T_T.
***book my holidays in between 2 months. - this will ensure entertainment on flights will be fresh.
my point of JAL. service was alright. but i've been on better serviced flights.
entertainment was horrible. okok.. maybe exaggerating a little. 12 channels. 14 on the newer aircraft.
channels = shows. so .. 12 hours one way.. = bored out of my wits.

this will be an introduction to my 15 day 14 nights trip to japan. and i'll be updating the links from here as soon i manage to write them.
i got back yesterday at 7pm.

day 1 was spent in ueno oak hotel.
day 2 was spent in akihabara electric town.
can't remembre the rest. will update more from here.
i spent day 9 in the hotsprings of hakone.
day 10 - 13 in kyoto. with sidetrips to nara and osaka.
day 14 was back in tokyo with last minute shopping.
day 15 was just spent on the way to the airport with 12 hours set in the plane.

that's it.. it's amazing that i can't remember anything when i start to type.
** all other entries will be backdated as i go along.

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
