first things first. financial offices are REALLY cool. i went to 2 financial spread betting offices.
well.. one was big and one was a little smaller.
i learnt a little bit from the guys who were giving the seminar about support and resistance lines and then it seems to work.
well not all the time la that is.
and i'm booked to another full day seminar on how good their product is.. lol but i'm just eyeing the free lunch and the last session of the day where they teach technical analysis.
and some works on technical indicators. (i'm not a man for news.. so .. i just follow indicators la)
right okies. that one aside.
next thing in my list was pokerstars.com
i was talking to a friend of mine on friday then i don't know how we got into talking about poker.. then one thing led to another.
we had friday pub with the company picking up the bill. :D
i didn't know why i couldn't drink.. well.. i could never drink. but i could hold about 2-3 pints of cider without puking. lol
anyways that night i drank half a pint and i felt weird.. very drunk. but i had KFC in the afternoon.. the oil should have taken away the alcohol.
bah humbugs.. anyways, one of the bad guys in the office, saw me half tipsy.. ( drunk) made me say oooo . down the rest of the pint.
lol well i dislike the way they think they are better.. obviously they can drink better la.. but then it's so what u call it.. undermining a person's worth.
anyways, that guy is a natural prick la..
after that i picked up some lemonade and drank 2 pints of lemonade b4 going home. :D
then home i started the poker thingy.
at first it wasn't fun. playing the cheapest table at 0.02/0.04 fixed.
i signed up with the bonus keyword UKMILLION. this was supposedly a ticket into the sunday millions. and so i thought.
then i spent the rest of the night playing with fake money in the poker after losing like $4 USD. then i played sommore i won back about $2.
i put in about £15 which amounted to about $29.93.
and so the nite went on.. and then i remembered the next morning i had to wake up to get to the spread betting seminar.
i had to wake up at 730 to wash up and get ready for the thing at 10 am.
anyways seminar. done. went to chinatown to buy some snacks. i didn't know the kowloon char siew pau had paper under it.. i ate about 1/4 of it before i realized it was paper. --___--
anywyas i said no wonder it tasted to weird laa.. gee and ppl say it's nice.. hahhahaha
okok then i went home lor.
slept . ate. woke up played a little poker. then went to bed at about 2 because i needed to wake up by 1230 or 230 pm for the poker registration.
i think might as well la.. since already signed up . i should have a free ticket to it mah.
so i did.
game started. 297 ppl. 1-32 gets to play in the sunday millions. 33-38 gets their money back. ( buy in money i think $22) and 39 gets $3.
wow.. it was scary.. even though it was online.. it was intense.!! somehow one way or the other i managed to get to the last 32 . then we had about an hour and half break b4 the big sunday millions was gonna start.
the whole satellite game took like 3 hours++ with 5 mins break every hour.
the sunday millions... wow.. my first time playing poker and i managed to get into the tournament.
7176 ppl signed up. total prize money about $1.45 million.
wow... money .. $$ KA-CHING !!!

anyways, i had ppl say FCK U FCK U !!! and then some ppl called me a retard... then about 5 hours later.. i lost out to the fact that i was caught up in the moment..
the guy went all in.. and i thought .. i could get rid of him.. bah humbugs.. he had a pair of covered kings.. jibet !!! lol
well.. it was an experience !! i'd say .. i won a little prize money. that's a consolation.
