Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger.. it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger.
i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food.

gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking.
taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P
the onion rings are a different matter though . for £1.95 i thought i'd get something really big... but then it turned out that it only came with about 16 onion rings.. damn .. that's expensive. bah .. sommore not spicy.. . hehe
but then if u wanna try some burgers ..rather ULTIMATE burgers as they say it.. try that one.
note : oh yeah .. their seafood stuffs over here in the menu, they call it surf and turf... been to 2 restaurants which uses that term.. well it's my first time hearing it as well.. :P

thats it for today.

So far the best I have tried are from:

Harvester's chain of pub restaurants
Hungry Horse's chain of pub restaurants
Ed's Easy Diner (but a little too expensive and small)

Mr. Kipling's Battenberg Cake. looks nice..

hmmm been so busy on friday forgot to update. will post 2 post to console myself today. to the cake. cake looks cute. but tastes horrible. maybe it was because i bought it cheap from sainsbury . it's original price was £1.29. but i bought it for 49p. cheap as i was. maybe that's the reason the cake tasted bad.. but the expiry wasnt till anohter 2 days time. :P anyways, it tasted like smelled like cough syrup. u know those red coloured ones. tasted okays. the outer layer is just icing erm or rather sugar.. no ideas waht that was but it was SWEET. then inside, just like the normal sponge cake. all in all.. i wouldnt buy it ever again. :P here are the pics.
