more busy

more busy sat. shopping. RL polo linen shirt on sale.(selfridges) gap long sleeeves linen shirt on sale. + shorts(*gasp* i can't fit into a size 32 anymore..) (gap) esprit casual jacket. saw a marks and spencers coat for 130£. but the indian serving me was rude and presumptious. just because i was asking about which type of coat to wear during winter and would it be suitable for below zero and snow. he assumed i was here for the first time. *sheeesh* anyways, didn't buy the coat on account of the bad and lousy service from the guy. lol resubscribed to wow again for 3 months. not going to austria. after the umpteenth time calculating.. overused budget liaw.. T_T

one word and few paragraphs

busy bought my ticket to oslo for a week for year end holiday from expedia. because ba charges £3 for credit cards.. T_T just got home. nothing special happening. did i mention i bought a k800i for £98 from o2. price check in msia was RM800++ ? cheaper here. ( and i still don't use the phone as much) last paragraph, i need the winning numbers for the lottery. gimme gimme gimme

friends.

it was a good dinner and a nice drink afterwards. meeting up with her made me realize how much i missed hanging out with friends.(okok this isn't as bad as it sounds like). lol. and it't not that flattering to have someone remember u last as a person who was sick on the trip to singapore and then suddenly complained of rashes which turned out to be measles -_-' . but nonetheless, the meet up was greatly needed. so i don't get use to being alone. it was 7 years ago ? or maybe longer or ages ago.. can't remember... it was like from a different time. why don't i have friends here in london.. i find it such a bother to make friends.. or i've become so cynical of ppl or i've become more interested in saving money rather to spend money on social outings. to which the answer i don't really know. but one thing i know is that friends are wonderful lol. protocol for meeting friends ? hug when meet and cheek kiss when bye ? well i think that's the standard

went to ikea on sat/bought a ticket to msia.

that's what i did. ... not anywhere fancy. because a mail from my friend back home in the email cc-ed to a few friends of ours. the email contained words like that UK jerk not coming back for my wedding.. LOL and i had the whole day to think about it. should i go back or not.. i have about 8 days of holiday left. if i used up 8 days for going back to msia then how on earth am i going to go to austria ? geeez.. bought the ticket lor.. what else (today bank called me up .. say calling to check for fraud prevention... cos ticket to KL was £560 from MAS.)( okok. i didnt wanna buy from MAS.. but they had the best timing that suited my purpose. 10 pm leave london, arrive 620 pm next day. then leave KL at midnite. arrive 525 am london. just in time for work. ) anyways, made it 4 days holiday for trip back to msia . and another 4 days pre christmas for austria. now all i have to do is find a cheap place in austria for me. sister is going to oslo for new year's. i wanna go... i so wanna

booked.in.a.moment.of.spastic.movement.of.my.fingers

an influence from an email sparked my anger and in frustration i booked another long haul ticket. T_T and i accidentally bought the ticket. i tried stopping my fingers from typing. but it just went on by itself.. i swear i didnt mean it that way. anyways, this time it will also be a direct flight. so hopefully i'll get nice girls seating next to me la. now i gotta go collect that ticket. maybe next week go collect la.. somehow it feels like i made a mistake. but like when that enter button was pressed... i knew there was no turning back. anyways, no biggie. i'm writing this post because it's confession time. because usually when i do something not sane... i have to find someone to tell the product of my insanity to .. but.. seeing as there's nobody around i can tell... i've decided to post this. after posting this .. i'll feel alot better as i got it out of my mind. there we go.

My early research on austria's snowboarding for beginners.

My Requirements. 1. BEGINNER Snowboarding/Ski - doesn't really matter just as long as i get to stay in the snow filled place for 7 days. *all i wanted was a log cabin with a jacuzzi and hot chocolate and a nice lamb chop and a good book sitting by a fireplace. lol. 2. CHEAP AND CHIC. ( stealing a line from moschino's ) i want it to be nice. and cheap ( less than £450 if possible) but by the looks of my research, it doesn't really seem possible. T_T austria's kaprun where the kitzsteinhorn is. int he region of salzburg. not that i am able to ski/snowboard that well to get up to the top. but it would be good for a photographing opportunity. 3. 7 days. ( a week of holiday) meaning i'm gonna spend 5 of my 8 days holidays. ( now i wonder if the minimum holidays is gonna go up for all ppl from 20 days to 24 then to 28 next year.. *sigh*) 4. BEFORE 22 December. ( apparently this is the low season) ( so everything should be still priced at low season's price) Results.

japan trip sep 2007 - navigation index

yesss!! managed to post the photos of japan up. with little or no explaination at all. so i wish u all who wanna know more about japan go there and see for yourself :P apart from shopping, eating, culture, sleeping. it's all different. best time to go to japan ? spring , and autumn( late oct onwards) anytime which is cold and not summer :P for me anyways. i did the baseball batting machines. i couldn't even hit the ball flying at 80 km/h. T_T. i ate unagi don, sushi, katsuo sashimi, some cuttlefish, yakitori, gyuudon, ramen, soba, onigiri, bento boxes, green tea icecream, shaved ice, mcdonald's , freshness burger, first kitchen, lotteria. mame daifuku, curry rice. so many other things to eat. *droool* okies. enough of that. here we go. i'm linking them posts in one post so it's easier to navigate. be forewarned. photos intensive. words are lacking where pictures are plenty :p Day 1 : tokyo Day 2 : akihabara Day 3 : Shinjuku Day 4 : asakusa to ginza Day 5 : ikebukur

no title. weekend of 5 oct 2007

friday evening was suppose to up this on site but got so busy and then went to the green man for drinks and went back almost drunk. then cooked something to eat. then stayed awake till 5. couldn't sleep. read some books. watched some animes. played some psp. then slept. woke up. wanted to go to the bank to ask about loans. didn't go. lazy. went to buy superglue in the nearby carboot sale for £1. then the thing i meant to fix broke.. so glue was useless. then i went to the north library which was about 10 mins walk from where i lived. they didnt have the book i wanted. found out it was in the N4 library. geez.. never mind. walked back. went to morrisons to buy my beef and carrots for the slow cooker thingy. then put them all in. then went out to the N4 library using my bicycle. (quicker than walking) saw a policeman, asked him where was the library. he said it was the white building. so i went. because he said it was the white one.. i went in without looking at the signs on the

Alert! looking for beginner skiing friends..

right.. somehow.. a weird idea just came to me. (same type of idea that propelled me to book a flight to japan earlier this year) i wanna go spend my december 2007 holiday week. ( not christmas obviously and also not anytime when my office's christmas party is being held - which i have no ideas when) i am googling for moderate budget skiing for beginners in some snow capped mountains with some nice accommodation so if i decide not to try out skiing i can sit in the cabin/lounge/wherever to read books and sip a cup of hot choco. or maybe something else. hehe. so if anybody who happens to see this, and have the same idea as i have, and don't have a group to go with, i'm more than happy to join your group. lol. anyways this is a shot in the dark. i might just be able to find some tour operators that operate ski holidays for just 1 person but in a group. that will be even better. anyways, just a heads up. since i've got the thought of skiing in my head now. enough said for

what's more annoying...

having the laptop hang on you after typing out like 3 quarters of the blog on a notepad ?? OR having your flatmate come and tell you that he's getting annoyed about the wireless connection and thinks u are the cause of it and can do something about it. ?? WTF... i DONT care if ur laptop can't connect. i told u the solution. it's not my fault the router hangs on u. all u have to do is tell me then i'll restart the router. sigh.. well both of them are annoying .. if i had to choose.. i'd choose neither.. anyways, ikebukuro's and part of koishikawa's garden is up.

monday to tuesday

man.. i don't understand it.. am i working too slow that i have to stay till 10 pm at night on a MONDAY nite ?? *sigh* anyways, that's about it.. am reading a book called rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon. wanted to finish reading it last nite.. but then came home so late how to finish.. well day 4 to asakusa and ginza is up. (i'm gonna do a series on london after this 15 days of japan is done. hopefully i keep at it.)

weekend was busy.

1. fixing the vaio. 2. playing with ridge racer 2 on psp, 3. hunting for rice cooker until one chinese man told me that it's cheaper to buy a 10 pound rice cooker from robert dyas than from a 20 pound one from james selby. 4. bought a crockpot slow cooker rather a cookworks one for 9.99 pounds from argos 5. read 1 and half books. tried typing out the report for japan. day 3 is done though look here meanwhile i suppose i'll have lack of updates as i'm still so busy... sigh...
