Alert! looking for beginner skiing friends..

right.. somehow.. a weird idea just came to me. (same type of idea that propelled me to book a flight to japan earlier this year)
i wanna go spend my december 2007 holiday week. ( not christmas obviously and also not anytime when my office's christmas party is being held - which i have no ideas when)
i am googling for moderate budget skiing for beginners in some snow capped mountains with some nice accommodation so if i decide not to try out skiing i can sit in the cabin/lounge/wherever to read books and sip a cup of hot choco. or maybe something else. hehe.
so if anybody who happens to see this, and have the same idea as i have, and don't have a group to go with, i'm more than happy to join your group. lol.

anyways this is a shot in the dark. i might just be able to find some tour operators that operate ski holidays for just 1 person but in a group. that will be even better.
anyways, just a heads up. since i've got the thought of skiing in my head now.
enough said for now.

oh drop a comment if u have some ideas on where to go or how to go .. u don't have to go with me .. more information about skiing is always welcomed. :D

Snowboarding is more like my cup of tea :) Where are you thinking of anyway? I can't decide where I want to head to during Dec. Sigh.

no ideas.. anywhere where there's snow and a log cabin where i can spend it in front of the fire reading :P
snowboarding ? sounds cool. i don't really care what sports i do.. all i want is the snow and the white december :D

living on a budget

of brussels sprouts and racial features.

brussel sprouts are in season i think. they are going for 1 pack for 52p. it used to be like 1/4 of the pack for £1. but now seems to be cheaper. oh yeah. it seems to be siu pak choi. but it just didnt opened. anyways, that nite i went to morrisons, to buy more food. but when i walked halfway i found out that i didnt bring my wallet.. ^$£"%$£^%$ but lucky i had coins in my pocket. all i had was 96p. how sad.. lol . i went to the store to look for nga choi. er.. whta they call them here.. i think some sort of beans.. they usually sell them for 45p. i wanted it cos i cooked chicken rice mah. but then they didnt have it. and they have mixed stir fried thingy which was £1.29. poor ole me didnt buy it cos i didnt have enough lol so i hunted for cheap stir fry vege, the sprouts looked like a cheaper alternative. well.. i bought it. cooked it ate it with chicken rice. next thing i knew.. i was down with a bloody cough. ugh.. lotsa phlegm. not sure how i got it.. but that aside, i've ...

first there financial spread betting. then came poker. man.. where am i going.. first things first. financial offices are REALLY cool. i went to 2 financial spread betting offices. well.. one was big and one was a little smaller. i learnt a little bit from the guys who were giving the seminar about support and resistance lines and then it seems to work. well not all the time la that is. and i'm booked to another full day seminar on how good their product is.. lol but i'm just eyeing the free lunch and the last session of the day where they teach technical analysis. and some works on technical indicators. (i'm not a man for news.. so .. i just follow indicators la) right okies. that one aside. next thing in my list was pokerstars.com i was talking to a friend of mine on friday then i don't know how we got into talking about poker.. then one thing led to another. we had friday pub with the company picking up the bill. :D i didn't know why i couldn't drink.. well.....
