Living in London

finally no more negative cashflow.. for this month lol that's besides the point, today i woke up weird. and felt ill for the whole morning. after lunch i feel a little better. lets hope i'll get better as the day progress. i was talking to a friend of mine, saying i want someone to cook for me.. instead of me doing the cooking everyday. lol then she said get a maid. humm.. that makes me think.. lemme see.. a maid in a french maid dress.. yum !! never mind that thought. it's just one of those days where i envy ppl who has food set on the table for them when they go home. rather than everytime have to prepare it when going home. i don't buy food outside unless i'm really tired. okies. enough bout food. i find that girl's are able to express better in words about things they see, hear, smell, feel. ( this coming from my exploration of blogs when looking for information about tokyo.) speaking of tokyo, yes. gave the dates of my holidays to my boss. it should be fine

i left office at 5 on friday. rushed to Great Portland St. Station, forgot to top up my oyster. rushed to top up. and then i went to the wrong platform. finally managed to get on the train to the airport. found out that the DS Lite was cheaper there by 15£. UWAAAAAAAA -_- next time if i am not going anywhere but i'm flying, i'll get it from the airport. geez. anyways, she liked it. but she kept asking me to play it for her. the plane ride was one of the scariest one i've ever sat on. turbulent and all. oh .. b4 i got on the flight, i saw this girl about 18 i think.. can't really tell with these english/scottish people. there was a huge fan blowing straight at her and her hair was like in the movies u know. ?? lol to top it up, she looked pretty. :P anyways, that's just it. sat next to 2 middle aged scottish ladies, couldn't really understand what was said. just smiled and laugh when it was supposedly time to laugh. flight to aberdeen on BA was okays. night time

point being that i didnt realized that it coincided with my niece's birthday and the time where i try to be the dutiful son who sends money home. and not to mention, i've been eating out lunching everyday now. sometimes i wonder would it have been better if i never started eating lunch at all. considering the fact that it's been cold and stressful in the office. i just needed some reason to get out of the office. so in calculation.. i think i'm in a £20++ deficit this month. -_- but i hope this is not a new habit of mine that i get into deficit.. else it would totally ruin the whole point of me being here. money thing aside, i finally managed to get some time to watch GITS(Ghost in the shell) Stand alone complex. from episode 1-12 was boring. it started getting a little more interesting after 12. which made me laze my whole sunday afternoon and evening away. weather wasn't really good. so i didnt go out. on sat i was bored out of my wits. i used to go out every sat.

I thank God for the past because without it 1. I would have not known about being poor when i was young. 2. i wouldn't have known how to enjoy not being poor. 3. I wouldn't have realized that the effort my mom put to teach us things about life and about being a better person. 4. I wouldn't have known that sometimes ppl put alot of peanut butter and jam on their bread whereareas when i was young i had to put it sparingly because it was not all the time we get to eat peanut butter and goober grape. 5. i wouldn't have known how was it like to be brought up in 2 different households where one was the extreme opposite of the other. both aunts and uncles ( Thanks for taking care of me :P) 6. I realized now that i thought i just wanted to be like my friends who were more well to do than my family. but in fact, for every single problem my family has had, i am thankful for every lesson i learnt. 7. friday. nite. it's unbelievable. when i said i wouldnt drink . i drank another pint.. and i went red. my eyes were like bloodshot red lol. second pint didn't help much. then it was time for tequila. yum !! second tequila it was amazing i was still alive. then someone spilled tequila over the table. and then incidentally my head was too close to where the thing spilled. i took a whiff.. i immediately felt like throwing up. i didnt know that tequila smelled that bad. lol i guess i can only smell when i am drunk. well i stopped after that. cos i needed to cycle back. and cycle back i did. :P very slowly. went home ate a lot . didn't throw up. so it was good. slept. saturday morning went out for window shopping for some backpacks. i saw the global 70-90 karrimor black and liked it immediately. i saw macpac. didnt look very nice. not complex enough i think. saw berghaus. didnt like the colour. lol alright .. set. i'm gonna see if i can get a good deal on the 70-90 for karrim

just because. 1. i'm not exactly tired of blogging.. i just am too engrossed or obsessed with the planning of going to japan which leaves me no time for anything else. - i.e. lemme see i just finished researching on the camera i am gonna buy there. which results in about 1 week of reading reviews, budgeting, etc. which finally made me conclude that i will buy the nikon d80 + 18-200mm lens, as well as a f1.8/ 50mm prime lens. that's one. 2. i reach home i wow. and anime. therefore there goes other time of doing anything else. which reminds me i need to clean up my room. 3. now next on the list is the type of travel gear i am gonna use when going there. - i've decided against those large suitcases in favour of a travel backpack which i still havent narrowed down to. there's a plethora of choices out there.. and i'm stumped between berghaus(£120), alpine lowe(£150), kathmandu(£230), north face(£190), Deuter(£150). as well as i can't decide to get the 70 litres or t

1. i broke my nail. i don't usually keep long nails. but it was a little long and i broke it while zipping up. finally managed to see worthing town after a few times. lol it was a quaint little town. with quite a number of funeral homes. well.. basically i saw 2 of them within 10 mins walking distance of each other. we had lunch in a pub called half brick just by the seaside. and it was glorious weather. food was fantastic. i mean, for the price, it definitely can't be found in london. i'd highly recommend this place. though i think my red eyes after drinking scared the bartender for a bit when i asked him for the gents. lol i tried grolsch for the first time. and it was like any other beer i've tasted. i can't seem to differentiate beer tastes. except for the strawberry beer. frulli. had 1 and half pints and was out. i started talking nonsense and i sure hope nobody remembers i said anything. lol the beach wasnt anything to grin about as it was all rocky and pebbly. but it was quite refreshing as it was the sea. ( sad to say this is my first time seeing the beach in England) d
