just because.
1. i'm not exactly tired of blogging.. i just am too engrossed or obsessed with the planning of going to japan which leaves me no time for anything else.
- i.e. lemme see i just finished researching on the camera i am gonna buy there.
which results in about 1 week of reading reviews, budgeting, etc. which finally made me conclude that i will buy the nikon d80 + 18-200mm lens, as well as a f1.8/ 50mm prime lens.
that's one.
2. i reach home i wow. and anime. therefore there goes other time of doing anything else.
which reminds me i need to clean up my room.
3. now next on the list is the type of travel gear i am gonna use when going there.
- i've decided against those large suitcases in favour of a travel backpack which i still havent narrowed down to.
there's a plethora of choices out there.. and i'm stumped between
berghaus(£120), alpine lowe(£150), kathmandu(£230), north face(£190), Deuter(£150). as well as i can't decide to get the 70 litres or the small 50litres.
aside from that, i've never actually seen a travel backpack up close.
well.. too many choices and i'm still quite green at this despite reading up on so much.
i must admit that the backpacks does seem like a huge sum to pay on a bag lol. and if i ever do buy them .. it'll be my first time buying such an expensive backpack.
okok. enough about that.
4. shopping intrigues me as much as it does the women. or how should i phrase that. er.. i'm as interested in shopping as the women are into their shopping therapy.
BUT.. just so i don't get stereotyped, i only read and research on what i really want and then i buy. big stuffs anything more than 50£ needs proper research for me.
and when i do buy .. i think i do spend a lot . but when i don't. i'm a stingy miser.
5. did i mention i was 120 pounds lighter after i left HMV piccadilly on sat. pink nintendo ds lite. -_-". not for me. amazingly the guy at the counter could tell that it wasn't for me.
i. it was either i looked too old to play DS.
ii. or because i asked for a pink one. lol
6. i had buffet today.. AGAIN.. but the price of the buffet went up by 50p. man.. they do know how to slowly boil a frog in hot water.
7. i had to jump of the bus which was shown in the photo above. cos it didnt stop where i wanted it to. lol
8. i hate the ringtone of the girl.woman.lady. ( dunno what to call her cos i know she's not that young.. and she's not that old either) had an ever annoying whistling tune that drives me MAD... and what's more she doesn't pick up till like after 30 seconds later.
- i had a mean thought. she never had anybody whistle at her so she's putting her ringtone to a whistling tune and she's calling herself from another fone just to hear that whistling. LOL -_-".. okies.. that was pure sick and lame. but heck.. that's how annoyed i felt. (and it's not because my mobile never rings :P)
9. i have yet to see an amateur photographer with a good camera that looks good on camera. ( obviously there are exceptions ) the photos i've seen taken by some ppl are fantastic. then suddenly i see the self potrait.. erm.. okies.. where is the style that was potrayed in the photos they shot ? well in exception for girls though. i think girls photographers look a little better than guys.
10. yes. i'm running out of stuffs to write.(like.. erm.. nothing much ever happens to me or i seldom go out. ) which explains there's no update. cos it's just day in day out and thinking of it.. it's another 21 days to payday LOL.
*11. i'm not rich yet. when i can have the best fish farm in the world and the world's ocean is depleted of fish, THEN ... i'll become a very rich fish farmer. according to new scientist which i read when i was in the loo this morning, fishes are gonna be extinct by the year 2050. humm.. that's another 43 years to go. damn.. i'd be bloody old then.

3. Now we got something to talk! I bought my Berghaus backpack during the summer sales (30 pounds compared to 80 original price). I love mine! So worth it. My friend uses North Face, but the quality is only soso. Kathmandu is quite a good brand too. Maybe you eye it, then wait until there's sales?
Why not try and see if you could get 70 litres, with detachable front bag of 20 litres? Some designs do have that. Pretty good since you can unzip the unwanted 20 l, or you could utilise that 20l as a day backpack.
There are really a lot of designs, so you have to choose wisely. Don't go for those pull up tog kind of bag. Go for zips. Make sure material is waterproof, and most of all, how it feels on your shoulders. Put some stuff inside when you try out the bag at the store. If it doesn't feel comfortable don't buy. I bought one last time and just one day my shoulders were going to break!
