This is will be the first part of my conclusion of this series of Living in London. Rather it's just a simple summary of my first year then followed by the second part which is the latter part of the journey. As I boarded the SQ flight from Kuala Lumpur to London transiting at Singapore Changi Airport in the early morning, there was not much activity in KLIA except for a few groups of people each waiting to check in to different counters. Families were having breakfasts, chats and some just sitting idly around. While the kids ran loose in whte wide spaces ignoring the fact that the air-conditioning of the airport was too cold as usual. I had breakfast with my mom in of those chinese dim sum restaurants. It was not as good as the shop in jalan ipoh but edible nonetheless. The bill came up to a whopping RM 70. Talk about highway robbery. Having said my goodbyes, I took some photos for rememberance and then made my way down to the immigration checkpoint. A few hours later i was doing

undoubtly i have not been busy with my photo taking adventures.. not like i do have any adventures to be proud of but at least it's still some photos. this one is a bookmark that my flatmate bought for me when he came back from egypt. king tut's bookmark. and it's made from papyrus. well. i don't read anymore.. all i read is what i see on the computer. i used to read a lot.. but then when i read, i didnt really need a bookmark cos i didn't stop reading until i finished the book. so technically, the bookmark is just useless for me except to use it for decorating my blog. it seems unreal that the series of this blog is going for a break/end. not sure until the producers of this series tells me that we're gonna have a second season of it. haha. but i suspect that there will be an OVA. but till then i will keep it under wraps until friday. and then next friday. and then next friday. today , as i came out of the house, i said,.. oh f.... it's raining.. and then

saturday sunday was nice and pleasant cos i packed everything into my suitcase. it fitted nicely. i bought beef to last till thursday. i finished up my rice and kept it in the freezer. cleared out unused stuffs. put BIOS password on my computer. dismantled my computer as well. and of course reassembled it. went shopping on saturday to look for souvenirs.. didnt buy any. cos all of them were like made in china. but i bought myself a pair of nice linen trousers. dark brown. light and airy. beautiful. they had in it cream light colour but then i couldnt find my size. so si buey paiseh. size 33. not that i am size 33. i'm still size 32. just that the size 33 looks nicer. haha ( self consolation is often not much of a consolation at all.) i remembered they had it in british india in msia where it costs aobut 200 RM ? not sure.. but this one i bought from h & m ( incidentally my first time, buying from H & M) for only £19.99. so i guess it's a good buy. that's it for mon

now that's cheewit. turkish baklava. a man next to me commented it LOOKS awfully sweet when i was in the shop asking what was the thing. at first it looked like meat. but then he said no no. sweet. ahh.. i said wth, lets try it. hehe okies. 8 more days from today. shopping for souvenirs for some mates ( hopefully cheap ones. cos i'm cheap :P) on sat. the weather just turned warm./hot/. everyone is cycling with t-shirts instead of the usual double layer. fried more poppadoms yesterday. the ones with the cumin seeds don't taste as good as the ones without. but that's too much oil. but i've finished the last of it. but i bought a new pack of 1 kg brown rice which i have to finish by 8 days. hmmm seems i'm gonna put on some weight b4 i go. other than that, nothing else has changed. so it's back to work. ta

it's tough being able to do this countdown when the days are all the same with 24 hours in them. anyways, i hope the item arrives from msia within these few days. crap.. i really detest pos laju malaysia. no sense of confidence in them. ashamed as i am to say, i have no faith in my own country's postal system. oh i ate turkish baklavas on sunday. 5 pieces for £1.50. it was good. very good. when i took a bite, the sweetness just came flowing out of it. wow. the guy who sold me that called it cheewit. ( at least that's what it sounded like) photo's in my fone. was lazy to get it out. black lagoon is a very nice anime. well.. it's not that ugly. but somehow different.

hmm i found out why my bike broke.. i patched the tyre tube wrongly..the other way around.. hmm never mind i only found out after i bought a new tube on sunday. it costed me £4 for that tube.. man.. it's expensive to cycle. anyways other than that, cooked curry chicken on sunday. talking about that makes me hungry. packed my bags. my friend used pos laju to send stuffs to me .. just a freaking piece of paper.. cost 76RM. geeez... i told him he should have used fed ex. cos i have no trust in my own country's postal system. i just hope that it'll arrive in time for me to use it though. over the weekend managed to garner some free items. so it's pretty much a very nice weekend. travelled down to worthing. via brighton. didnt even see the beach. some stupid miscalculation on my part. but i did see the airport i'm supposed to go to.
