Living in London

hmm amazing that i can afford not to eat the whole day and then go home and eat one dinner then go to bed.. that's crazy and i'm still going at 78kg.. i was 74 just a few weeks ago.. not good. not good for health definitely but i am not hungry. lessee.. supposed to buy snoreeze for a friend of mine he keeps reminding me almost every other day. hahhaa. well i still havent gotten around buying it. at 12£ a shot / box or whatever it's called. it's not cheap to stop snoring at nite. not sure if it works cos i dont use it. but i do snore. anyways, will pop by boots one of these days. which reminds me i need to get a refund on my premium bonds . it's like an amanah saham nasional thingy back in msia. but this allows u to win about 1 million pounds. talk about being hopeful. :P anyways, i gathered that much of my luck aint with gambling. if i ever feel really lucky, i'll buy the national lottery. else. i tink i'lll just stick with being poor. hahha note: for the

okies. as the title says. when i was taking the bus to sheffield, i thought it was easy to get to victoria coach station cos if victoria station is there.. then the coach station is somewhere there la.. but then when i check the travel planner or rather journey planner for the bus routes.. it says it's 10 mins bus ride away. i si buey panic la liddat.. cos i dont wanna pay extra for bus fares mah. hehe. anyways, i managed to get the right place. it's pretty near victoria coach station. take a look at the map. it's at the spot marked X. it's only about 5 mins walk away. but a better map can be viewed from the journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk website.just put in from victoria station and destination victoria coach station. :P here's the interior of the bus station. this bus station puts our puduraya bus station to shame.. but then actually ahh.. i think no need to compare la.. hehe.. later i am also going back mah.. but if we got so nice bus station i also dun mind take the

bought it from tesco when i was visiting tesco in sheffield. came in small little packets. I tried it the other day. or wassit yesterday.yeah i know looks weird. oh yeah. that's a leftover maggi cup noodle some friends left over when they came to visit. anyways, it was quite nice. feels almost the same like those u get in the restaurants except for the fact that i drank it out of a maggi cup. now i still have a few more to go. at about 20p a pop of miso soup. and considering i have no ideas what's in a miso soup. it's quite okay. p/s days here are getting more fun as well. each tiem i breath out i see smoke coming out of my mouth. one of these days, i'm gonna try like having smoke out of my nose like a magic dragon. lol.

M1 got jam... u say ler.... die die also the jam so freaking long.. late by 2 hours.. then saw a near accident and saw some guy kenak screw kao kao cos come out of the lane without signal. ate char siew and roastpork rice. Noodle Inn 5.50. *gulp* damn big .. but nice. then lepak. oh yeah .. buses in sheffield EXPENSIVE. £1.30 per trip. but day passes are called firstday. £3. then when the last day i was suppose to leave.. they RAISED the bus prices .. diu..£1.50. sien.. i ate in spicemania buffet in leeds. 4.99. yum. indian food. ate with fingers. japanese food in east ocean cafe. some set lunches at £6.50. gyuudon. think it's just sliced thin beef with onions. i can cook that anytime

i spent so much in sheffield. well.. maybe not alot.. but i dont even usually spend that much. haha anyways, i'm so glad to be back in london. phew... next time i hope i'll be able to say i'm so glad to be back in msia.

Picture above shows the location i was at today. i went to the microsoft launch of SQL 2005, Visual Studio 2005 and Biztalk 2006. etc. i went not because i wanted. but because there was a free lunch. :P anyways, it was cos i was given a free seat there so i went. lunch was fish, chicken, bread, rice. desert was blackberry cheesecake, strawberries and cream tart, mango pudding or something like that.. no pictures. :P too busy eating. learnt a few things i could apply in my daily work. esp. sql 2k when upgraded to sql 2005. the IDE was good as well. anyways, the refreshments were served as above. quite a lot of ppl attended the launch. i'm not sure how many but it may have been about 5-6k ppl ? but heard the commentator from microsoft said it was about 10k .. i didnt keep count. well.. what a day. supposed to stay at home and rot.. but had a free lunch. oh well. all's well ends well. tomorrow is another day of off day yippeee.. note to self. i hate trinity blood's ending.. £&

well it's my first day of my off week. it seems to fly pretty fast today. i just did nothing.. ahh the comfort of doing nothing in london.. hahahaha classic. anyways, time passes so fast when i'm on holiday. drat. i'm holiday.

Zizzi's italian restaurant. i suppose it's italian. cos i couldnt see any other types of meal on the menu. didnt really wanna eat as i ate a heavy breakfast this morning from pain du jour . a small cafe or whatchaumacallit.. cheap hot food. instead of paying £1.60 for sandwich in tesco. i get a hot baguette with my choice of bacon or burger. it's empty though. just bacon and the baguette. it's okays since it's hot. for its price, i'd say that shop has one of the best food i've ate around that area. back to lunch. carbonara i ate... had less than 4 small 0.5cm X 0.2 cm X 4cm strips of bacon in them. and that's all. right.. i wondered if i said that bulldog picks up the phone more often than not compared to a few months back. BUT .. there's a big but.. they transfered me from one department to another department. reason being ? i was told when i signed up for that package i was only supposed to pay up to 29.50 a month. when the freaking bill came.. i'm stuck with 52.01 a month. WTF ... u tell me.. then i called bulldog customer service yesterday. right they told me that i should get the name of the guy who sold me the package. right. today i called them up. they say they didnt need the name of the guy. but they'll give me at the price of 29.50. that guy was shawn/shaun or however u spell ur name. right. he told me to wait 5 mins to call the billing department. the girl answered. told me they can't do anything to the bill. asked me to call the customer service department. she transfered me to a guy called clive. and poor guy had to take the brunt of my frustration. damn.. in the en

this is weird.. i dreamt of a cat and a lost GPS navigator. the cat was tiger striped with it's claws dulled. the gps was lost under someone's bed. the cat was a mini sized one.
