friends.

it was a good dinner and a nice drink afterwards.
meeting up with her made me realize how much i missed hanging out with friends.(okok this isn't as bad as it sounds like).
lol.
and it't not that flattering to have someone remember u last as a person who was sick on the trip to singapore and then suddenly complained of rashes which turned out to be measles -_-'
. but nonetheless, the meet up was greatly needed. so i don't get use to being alone.
it was 7 years ago ? or maybe longer or ages ago.. can't remember... it was like from a different time.
why don't i have friends here in london..
i find it such a bother to make friends.. or i've become so cynical of ppl or i've become more interested in saving money rather to spend money on social outings.
to which the answer i don't really know.
but one thing i know is that friends are wonderful lol.
protocol for meeting friends ?
hug when meet
and cheek kiss when bye ?
well i think that's the standard english greeting? okok never mind me. i'm babbling.

another midnight rambling. bah humbugs!!

oh we went to hare tare in russell square or something like that la.. was okay the food. 20 pounds for 2 reasonable. we had to queue like 15 mins just to get in.. wow.
then after that we walked to all bar one in holborn to grab a drink.
then it was pouring rain. so waited till it subsided a bit then we left early about 1030-ish.

didn't realize there was a sort of square there. it was pretty nice.

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
