young and dangerous - kuwak chai

lol i just watched that show again just now. what inspired me to write a little note on the show was that when i was young, gangsters shows seemed so cool. or wassit rebels. i guess back in the 60s there was james dean. or etc.. not sure.. something like that la.. then grease with travolta's with his bad boy dancing thingy.
right, i absolutely adored.liked.admired. that show.. ( young and dangerous 1-5) + the prequel. though different part of the movies i don't quite like. but the story i like.
reason being.
1. i like being bad. even though i am a build in remote control that tells me that everytime i am bad.. i feel guilty .. thus i end up not really being bad.. so it's not that extreme.. so it's not that bad.
2. bah .. they have nice leather jackets and costumes.. i would call them costumes.. cos if i were to wear that one out.. it would look quite out of place with exception of being in camden town on a sunday morning that is.
3. then also because of all the girls, the violence the loyalty to each other, the brotherhood. lol the brothers code. there was such an unspoken rule when we went out. but that was all in the past.
4. i wanted to long hair like Chan Ho Nam. with a dragon tattoo all over my shoulder. lol to top it up as well, i was teaching temp in my previous school at that time.. that also inspired me cos that Chan Ho Nam went to sub in a school.
5. MR2 .. the first 5 sec 0-100km/h car i've read about with turbo. ( not in the market .. it was the first time that showed me cars could go that fast.) though i remembered the only time when i was excited was when my uncle took me for a spin in a dunnowhosproton. and as he redlined it... thats it.. die.. i was hooked on redlining..
6. okok b4 i go off track.. i realized that the only funeral i've ever been to was my grandfather's one. i was twelve at that time. and i didnt think it was such a big fuss over a funeral.. cos i wasn't really close to my grandpa even though he loves me alot.. lol :P first grandson.
he bought me stuffs when i wanted it.. he brought me to coffee shops in the mornings to drink milo from a saucer.. like a kitten lol . come to think of it.. i'm sad that i couldn't really talk more about his life. i was just a kid.
right.. talk about the funeral was because of this show.. i watched the first one.. the big brother died.. so Ho Nam came to pay his respects... or respect.. i dunno which one is right.. but i just realized... it.. nothing else..

that's about it then.
happy weekend.. i found my bike rack.. i'm gonna park in front of starbucks on monday hopefully it's not pack la..

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
