bought meself a N2S windstopper

for 19.99 from evanscycles again. i don't know why but i seem to like to buy from them. not because they are the best.. but i think because they are more convenient for me as well as a little cheaper.
i went to oxford st last nite as to find out which cycle shop had the cheapest gloves.
cos apparently i lost my old one which i bought from a indian shop or something for 4.99 fleece thinsulate or wtfumacallit.
they got nicked when i forgot to take them to the office.. i left it on my bike.. geez..
anyways, old don't go .. new don't come..
so here comes the new one.
it was rubbery. well it was thinner.. it wasn't very much warmer despite saying windstopper.. maybe it just stops the wind. maybe it was for autumn.
bah humbugs.. it'll have to last me a few good years b4 i lose it again.
more info can be found at www.windstopper.com

that's about it. last nite my fridge acted up again when i accidentally knocked the socket lose.. and it didnt wanna start up again.
had to wait for the termostat to reset or something la..
so what i do is take the plug out of the socket for a few hours. sometimes it takes up to 12 hours.
then i plug it back in .. it starts again.
it's a free fridge. so no problems.

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.ustoday's photo would be an antique automatic door closer.. or so i think thta's what they are called.
it was shot on site in my office. not sure how many offices have those kind of door.. i just thought it'd be nice to shoot one of those.
oh last nite i went to buy a lot of sainsbury basic stuffs from the sainsbury in camden. bus fares were still the same at £3 capped for bus pass oysters.
right.. back to work..

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

A short history of my reading of books

I read 3 books on sat and sunday. some say i don't really read these books that i say i read because i read so fast that i can't possibly grasp the entire story. and some say stories are best read slowly and digested slowly. I've always been a person who rushes through most of the things i do. sometimes i take time and do the stuffs slowly sometimes quickly. kk. right now from saturday onwards, i'm gonna keep count on how many books i can read till i exhaust the feeling that i wanna read books. i started reading when i was 8 years old. i mean REALLY into reading. i spent one year living with my aunt back in sibu and while all my older cousins were studying and doing their own things, i sat down in front of the TV and watched the friday's cartoon. about a whale with special powers. ( this was usually met by my uncle with dark looks because i watch too much telly.) i read the whole childcraft encyclopedia. ( it wasn't hard because it was done in such a way that a ...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
