Welcome to the world of cycling..

this is the first time i hear that a tyre has kevlar material. OMG... i bought a pair of tyres that rivals the price of my 15 inch tyres back home.
14.99. and that's the cheapest...
sommore got rotation sommore. see the pic here
i damn sien lor.. cos both my tyres already almost died mah.
then i bought 1 tyre to replace the back. then another 1 to replace the front the next day. then i put them on wrong way. sien. i go back i try to put them on the right way. went to the station and pump.
came back to the room fixed the tyres to the bike. found out i did the the wrong way again !!! GEEEEEz
then i went back to the station to pump.. the fler said the pump rosak.. so today i came to work on bus. in the bus after camden stop they got cops coming up the bus to catch those fare evaders. i saw a lot of ppl got caught. cos of the bendy buses nobody go touch in mah..
this fler who sat in front of me. obviously he didnt touch.. he told the conductor when he got checked for saying the pass wasn't validated, he said.. but there's money in the card. like if there's money in the card makes any difference.. i think those fare evaders should stand near those machines just to get ready in case the cops come check so they can quickly touch.. hehe.
anyways, that'sa bout it.. i'm gonna buy a pump for my tyres later. another £20 down the drain. total after i come back to fix my bike. = 14.99 X2 = 30 some park tool for my tyre lever = 2.99 and today one pump should be quite a lot to fix.. sien.. :P
that's it for today la.. busy day.. but i like the weather.. no sun.. hurrah !!! lol
i'm mad to like the gloomy weather.. but at least it's not that hot.

note: i found out lasik i can't focus for words 5 cm away from my face.. that's bad..
never mind la.. already do .. next time go back to kl cari them fry them kao kao..
i keep sleeping at 11pm and waking up 7 hours later.. this is not good. this has been the third day i've been awake at 6 am.. Grumble.s..
[edit]
I had snickers icecream bar last nite as well.. didnt pump tyres.. just bought a snickers bar ice cream from the gas station @90p.
a tad expensive. innit..

Have been left out of the cycling loop for so long. We are thinking of getting a bike for city use. Any recommendations?
er.. u ask me ahh ?? my bike i got free..
sommore its not something i know much about. if you go to a cycle shop evans cycle is the closest to me prices are okay.. cycle surgery is a bit expensive. , they should be able to sort you out. but after riding for so long..
the important points of the bike.

1. mountain bike / racer / foldable ( mine's a mountain bike. i find myself more comfortable on a mountain bike, i can't balance on a racer. foldable too much of a hassle)
2. budget. ( mine i got for free. but i think bikes should be quite okays for around £300-400 mine dun have shocks. dun need them. not going off roading. just road use.)
3. weight of the bike. cheaper bikes are heavier. (i carry my bike up a flight of stairs to the first floor everyday[after cycling, to carry it up if it's heavy it's not very nice]. so weight matters to me.)
4. how often u're gonna use it lor. ( i use it on weekdays. it's durable for me. so it's pretty okays)
5. easy to maintain.
6. Gears. if u're doing just normal relaxing riding, 18/21 i forgot what was the highest one 28 speed ? 18 speed would be enough kua..

buy what u feel is comfortable for u lor. and make sure u shop around la. should have lotsa deals since it's summer and everyone wants to ride in the sun. :)

not much, but that's bout it hope it helps.
hehe.

I think I will just go for used bike. Haiyah...in Malaysia not this complicated. Just get a damn bike and that's it. Plus I don't remember my old bike costing even £60! Dammit.
lol . good luck. gumtree has some free bikes from time to time..

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

my boring weekend

i went to camden on sat and almost got rammed by a stupid green car on the way back. anyways, i was bored. and it was a nice day. don't know anything bout tour de france, or wimbledon. took my bike out. and cycled down towards camden. it was a change from cycling to work. i spent £7 in sainsburys cos they were having a half price sale on john west's tuna in cans. the usual price is about £3.19. bought some stuffs.. ( coulnd't buy a lot cos i don't wanna ride home on a punctured bike) but i bought too many as well. i bought jaffa biscuit for 69p. for 24 pieces. finished it b4 sat was over. took some photos on the way. went into o2 to see if i could get any nice phones for free. turned out that i couldn't because i havent paid any phone bills since last year. looks like i'm gonna hvae to switch my sim card to a pay as you go thingy. then i went to the outdoor emporium to take a look at the karrimor travelpack. i dunno why .. that one seems to call out to me other...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
