fruitful & visits to my favourite haunts..

Visits to tesco, IKea, Sainsbury's, somerfield, and morrisons, argos, iceland. right.. i need help..
those definitely can't be my favourite haunts.. but bah humbugs.. i prefer going to look at stuffs i can use at home rather than going to spend my money in a pub.. where i can't really drink.. :P
OMg.. i'm turning into one of those old men i hated when i was young.. geez.. anyways,
that aside, i went to hyde park on saturday as well. there were like tons of ppl there.. cos there was this concert by dunno who. i sat there for about 45 mins and then went on my way back home.

£2.99 some gosa skalip or something ergonomic pillow.

2. tesco
£4.97 another cole & mason salt and pepper mill. ( buy 1 get 1 free)

some cheap chicken thighs.
this was where i realized my savers card couldnt be used anymore cos they discontinued it. saw some cheap coke. i think somehow.. somerfield has the cheapest coke anytime around. compared to other supermarkets i've been.

4. sainsbury's
lotsa pringles... :P 2 for £1.60.
some squash as usual. 16p a piece. i think it's cheaper than morrisons @18p who is always out of stock. and tesco at 17p.

5. iceland -
£1 for 15 eggs.

6. argos - shower curtain rail. 3.99
another pillow. latex one. - 16.99. SIAO.. bloody expensive.. but at least if i calculate that i use it everynite for 3 years.. then it wouldnt be so expensive la.

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

of brussels sprouts and racial features.

brussel sprouts are in season i think. they are going for 1 pack for 52p. it used to be like 1/4 of the pack for £1. but now seems to be cheaper. oh yeah. it seems to be siu pak choi. but it just didnt opened. anyways, that nite i went to morrisons, to buy more food. but when i walked halfway i found out that i didnt bring my wallet.. ^$£"%$£^%$ but lucky i had coins in my pocket. all i had was 96p. how sad.. lol . i went to the store to look for nga choi. er.. whta they call them here.. i think some sort of beans.. they usually sell them for 45p. i wanted it cos i cooked chicken rice mah. but then they didnt have it. and they have mixed stir fried thingy which was £1.29. poor ole me didnt buy it cos i didnt have enough lol so i hunted for cheap stir fry vege, the sprouts looked like a cheaper alternative. well.. i bought it. cooked it ate it with chicken rice. next thing i knew.. i was down with a bloody cough. ugh.. lotsa phlegm. not sure how i got it.. but that aside, i've ...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
