celery salads + 20 inch wide screen LCD

1440 X 900 resolution.. that's what my computer is running now... woot !! we got a new widescreen lcd for each of us in the team. wooo it looks soooooo bright.. the resolution.. one word.. NICE !!!!
got it just b4 we were about to leave for work yesterday. anyways. enough about my screen.
and celery salads ? woah.. the celery prices went up from 49p about a month back to 79p now... sigh.. for 88p i can get a kilo of brown rice. anyways, that aside, i found that if i put a dash of mayo with some curry powder + some italian herbs it tastes really good. or maybe my tastebuds are already conditioned to eat raw celery.
my computer at home still gets restarted everytime.. hmm today will have to find out what is wrong with it. managed to get the minidump files..
today's weather looked like it is gonna rain. but yet bbc weather said it is not gonna rain.. dunno how true that is.
nuttin much to add now.. maybe later in the afternoon if i do get something interesting..

Wow, I thought it was your own personal LCD screen. Muself I am still using a CRT. So old fashion but good for gaming.

BTW, don't trust the BBC weather report.

yeah mine at home is still a CRT. that's also a 20inch crt. but not widescreen and the resolution not so high.
i try not to trust BBC's report.. but sometimes i've just gotta use it. heh.

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

A short history of my reading of books

I read 3 books on sat and sunday. some say i don't really read these books that i say i read because i read so fast that i can't possibly grasp the entire story. and some say stories are best read slowly and digested slowly. I've always been a person who rushes through most of the things i do. sometimes i take time and do the stuffs slowly sometimes quickly. kk. right now from saturday onwards, i'm gonna keep count on how many books i can read till i exhaust the feeling that i wanna read books. i started reading when i was 8 years old. i mean REALLY into reading. i spent one year living with my aunt back in sibu and while all my older cousins were studying and doing their own things, i sat down in front of the TV and watched the friday's cartoon. about a whale with special powers. ( this was usually met by my uncle with dark looks because i watch too much telly.) i read the whole childcraft encyclopedia. ( it wasn't hard because it was done in such a way that a ...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
