A Walk down Regent Street.

speaking of walks... today the part of the Tottenham Court road was cordoned off. and now is STILL cordoned off. not sure why. i take my usual route going across the small park towards the odeon on TC road. but then i reach half way i saw so many ppl and the police lines there.. goodness knows what's happening.
ooops... i went down at about 1015.. it was taken off liaw.. so it's alright now.
anyways, yesterday i had lunch in zizzi's a few blocks away from our office with a bunch of colleagues cos one of them is going away. or last day or watever. i took the liberty of making an accident that spilled my £2.25 apple juice all over the table. lucky the two chaps sitting right in front of me didnt get wet. lol. my pizza was actually about £7.75. was the napolatene or something like that. fishy stuffs.
cycled home last nite. was hungry. ate a little too much . had 4 choc ice. 3 quarters of a pringles can. inspired by the lunch i had. anyways. went to sleep dreaming of weird stuffs.
right myself aside, here's my walk down regent street. not exactly a walk.. i was on a bus.

eh, i nearly had lunch at zizzi's yesterday but too many ppl plus I was hungry like a cow so we went to pizza express.
lol. we waited an hour for our food to arrive in zizzi's. pizza express seems nice. i've been to the one in kentish town/ chalk farm. it's good. :) but at about 10-15 quid a pop. err.. i tend to eat out less than often :P

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

brussel sprouts are in season i think. they are going for 1 pack for 52p. it used to be like 1/4 of the pack for £1. but now seems to be cheaper. oh yeah. it seems to be siu pak choi. but it just didnt opened. anyways, that nite i went to morrisons, to buy more food. but when i walked halfway i found out that i didnt bring my wallet.. ^$£"%$£^%$ but lucky i had coins in my pocket. all i had was 96p. how sad.. lol . i went to the store to look for nga choi. er.. whta they call them here.. i think some sort of beans.. they usually sell them for 45p. i wanted it cos i cooked chicken rice mah. but then they didnt have it. and they have mixed stir fried thingy which was £1.29. poor ole me didnt buy it cos i didnt have enough lol so i hunted for cheap stir fry vege, the sprouts looked like a cheaper alternative. well.. i bought it. cooked it ate it with chicken rice. next thing i knew.. i was down with a bloody cough. ugh.. lotsa phlegm. not sure how i got it.. but that aside, i've ...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
