Some Japanese Meetup in London

went for one last nite. didnt know what to expect. just thought i should go take a look. went there at about 7. it was supposed to start at 730. sat and drank quarter of a pint to make it look like i'm still alive else the barkeep would kick me out. hehe. just kidding.
anyways, come 740pm. only 3 ppl arrived. all guys. all non japanese.
hehe. no ideas. but wasnt organised nicely to tell that where will they be sitting or stuffs like that. so i went there bodoh bodoh go ask them .. ahem. are u the... they immediately said yes. they were quite friendly.
more ppl came later. i think some came later some left earlier.
well i finally managed to speak some of the japanese i've learnt from anime. lol.
it seems to work. understandably i can only speak those which the anime characters have spoken.
location was a pub. Captain's cabin. on norris street. near the trocadero. about 20 mins walk away from my office.
they had food. didnt order food. cos wasnt hungry. nowadays i have no ideas why i dont eat much. must be from the cycling too much of it made me not hungry.
left the pub when it was closing at 11pm.
so in the end, met 3 japanese girls and 1 japanese guy whom i thought looked a lot like Ekin Cheng. (young and dangerous the movie actor).
the rest of them were londoners from all over. colombia, france, spain, hongkong, no ideas where swahili language came from. but well.. it was cool for a part. sort of a social gathering where just to meet ppl.
i'd give it a rating of 6.5/10
for the lack of much japanese people. but at least they meet only once a month. so it's not too bad.
£1 for donation for the club.
£2.98 for a pint of kronenburg 1664.
hours spent : 7 pm to 11 pm.
ta.

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
