living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week.
that's it's gonna be till sept.
hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_-
so far for the last few days has been okays.
spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury.
today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos.
nothing else happened.
my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri.
i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now.
i asked. scared of dying ?
lol.
anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T

kk
that's it.
season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the last of 24.

it just doesnt cut it anymore.. it would be good if they came out with a movie concluding the whole of 24.

I don't think I can live on 10 a week budget. I get a few stuff from Waitrose and it's already like 9 something already and that's hardly for a week and no meat!! -_-

yeah. i used to make sure i'd spend only ten quid on groceries each week, too! but that's like, almost 10 yrs ago. ;P
moo: long time no see lol can't read ur chinese blog as well.
well that's because u shop from waitrose :P expensive place. i shop from where all the peasants and slaves shop. [morrisons]
*there's a pun intended if anyone from the supermarket i go to reads this as well*
but the stuffs i buy basically is for 1 person so that why it's usually enough.
meat, i buy cheapest meat like £1.50 for beef, and another £1.50 for wings or some diced turkey
then i will have enough for the week lor.

piffy : same laa... just depends on what u buy only mah lol :P
i basically can spend alot if i don't budget cos its like oooo i see that i like, i buy .. then turn out i buy too many too much :P
and note: wow .. 10 years ago ??

just kidding..LOL i'm only able to say 3 years ago .. cos that's the first time i set foot in england .

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
