i've been listening to mandarin/cantonese songs for the past few days. and not to say that songs are not good. but they do sound very nice. especially er.. i can't remember who sang what.. cos i don't read chinese.. hell, i don't even really understand half of what the songs are about.
but i think it's basically like that for me. it goes in one ear and out the other. like water off a duck's back.
BUT.. when i listen to a few songs long enough, the next time i hear any part of it, i can distinctly remember about the memory associated with the time i was playing that song over and over again.
like for instance, Mr. boombastic.. by shaggy .. lol each time i hear that, i remember about the high school days. man... i can't believe i did those things.. HAHAHHAHA
so today i switched to those MAX HIT albums that came out in the 90s... bwhahahahhahah i feel old.. grumbles.
hmm some other ones.. lemme see summer kisses winter tears ?? my parent's generation's songs. haha i was 12 when i was listening to that cassette.
yeah.. cassette. man.. such a while back. that reminds me of another girl lol. mahai.. don't they just love coming back. the memories that is.
otown- liquid dreams - that one was quite new. it reminded me of those trips i used to take down to singapore late at nites. bah humbugs.. that song doesn't bring good memories.
dangdut - o sayang that one reminded me of inanam when my uncles had a shop that sold F&N drinks. (wholesale). i was in the room on a late afternoon and it was bloody hot. i was 11 that time. looking for stuffs to past time.
EMF - unbelievable - that reminded me of a teen camp in lokawi - not sure if that's how u spell it. 14 years old. this eurasian friend of mine, let me listened to it. wonder where is he now. he was short for his age last time.. but "tagap" lol.
sadness part 1 enigma - reminded me of another time where we were in mt. kinabalu sitting around some feller's van. he was playing that music in his van. at that time.
back then i envied them alot. cos they have lotsa things that i didnt. but now i don't really envy anything.. i'm like er.. oo okays.. u got it.. so ??? lol
even if i did pretend to envy .. i say waaahh.. ( i'd most probably be lying..hahahhahah confession time)

today i tried a new way of wearing clothes. new to me that is..i've seen them wear it.. like wearing a long sleeves t shirt first, then a t shirt over it so that ur long sleeves shirt is under the normal shirt.
cos i figured.. i don't have lots of non black clothes.
80% of my wardrobe is black. (!!ding. revalation ??!!??) hmmm this christmas must go shopping for some other colours liaw.
this is amazing.. since last time when i was young, i like white colour. but it seems somewhat i wondered when did it changed to black. hahaha.
well, since it feels alright, i'll wear it this way till the weather turns for the better. or when i find something else to wear.
