overslept and too comfortable.

time shown half 8. i was still comfortable. i pressed the snooze button.
i slept peacefully. then i realized that my snooze button never rang. saw the time.. quarter to 10. OMG.. crap.. i'm late..
literally jumped out of my bed. jeans. wash face, brush teeth, wet hair. shirt. then packed. late means bicycle.
there's no way i can get to work within 45 mins if i take the bus. so i took my bike.
geez.. wheeled the bike out.. downstairs already .. then i realized i forgot my medicine. $^$"£%. went back up. got the medicine.
time was 1010am. came out again.. cycled like mad.. eyes were watering due to the cold air. nose was running as well. trying to cycle to catch up with them.
finally reached office at 1030. locked the bike. now i'm dreading the ride home as i dun like cycling lol. but i prefer it to taking the bus.
right.. that's it for today. cough is almost gone. slept like a baby last nite.. still clearing last of cough phlegm. but should be fine by tomorrow.

hmm so right... nothing else new.. gotta prepare for paris. i tihnk i said that too much liaw.
forgot to tell boss i'm going off on monday as well.
er.. what else.
nothing special. just to think what to do tonite and tomorrow. cos WoW server going down.. (at least the one i'm playing at la).
hmm fridge is still fusing.. not sure what's going on.. but tonite will go back and check.
i need to get myself a multimeter to check .. ( i wondered what happened to the one we took from the college lab. i didnt take it.. my friend did it.. lol)
that's it. tonite dinner will most probably be fish wraps.. mmmm.. yum.

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

A short history of my reading of books

I read 3 books on sat and sunday. some say i don't really read these books that i say i read because i read so fast that i can't possibly grasp the entire story. and some say stories are best read slowly and digested slowly. I've always been a person who rushes through most of the things i do. sometimes i take time and do the stuffs slowly sometimes quickly. kk. right now from saturday onwards, i'm gonna keep count on how many books i can read till i exhaust the feeling that i wanna read books. i started reading when i was 8 years old. i mean REALLY into reading. i spent one year living with my aunt back in sibu and while all my older cousins were studying and doing their own things, i sat down in front of the TV and watched the friday's cartoon. about a whale with special powers. ( this was usually met by my uncle with dark looks because i watch too much telly.) i read the whole childcraft encyclopedia. ( it wasn't hard because it was done in such a way that a ...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
