haddock is twice the price of cod.

that's that. i thought haddock was something special.. but i guess i havent been eating enough fish to qualify as a fish taster. i bought cod for 84 p. haddock for twice that amount. the size of the fish is almost the same size anyways.

i dun understand it. fishes are not fed by humans. nor are they from a different planet for each different type of fish. why are the prices so different for all the fishes..
bah humbugs.
all come from the sea.

blame it on the capitalist pigs.. :P
anyways, i did a panfried version of the haddock cos i dunno how to cook fish one. usually the fishes i ate, i remembered was deep fried fish and then soy sauce was poured over the fish. and man... (sweet and salty at the same time).it tastes good. i must try again that even though it's a tad unhealthy.

other than that, didn't go anywhere for the weekend. stayed at home and tried to get rid of the heat by showering every 5 hours.. ( almost did not come out of the shower.)
it was that bloody hot. this week is also almost the same.
* i found out what relative humidity meant. not that i didnt know but i actually know now. :P ( i bet i'll forget it within 7 days.)

read a whole load of manga.. then turned out last nite i dreamt too much of a weird dream. can't believe what i dreamt.. why can't i just dream some numbers.. gah..
:P
on short note: fish doesnt fill me. i need real meat.. but i have since stopped taking meat. GAH !! and BAH !! humbugs... will have to try fish again..

[EDIT]
my bad. haddock is not twice the price of cod.. it's twice the price of coley. ( i dun even know what a coley looks like)

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
