thursday mushday rain or no rain. part 1 walk in oxford street. london

the amount of ppl walking in oxford street just scares me.
on another note: my eyes are acting up again. it's dry.. but i dont understand why it's dry. my hands are also getting dry. i drink more water than b4 but it's still getting dry.
kitchen's fixed. toilet is fixed as well. not that it broke anyways.
i got some huge ass luggage that my flatmate left in my room cos his room has no space. talked about wimbledon he said he went for those courts at £15. the centre courts were like dunno 40-60 ? bah humbugs.. i missed it this year as this weekend not free. will be visiting my aunt again.

more ants... i wonder what are they doing... it usually is hard to navigate around in the streets.

i took all these shots from a bus. cos it was so jammed, it was faster to walk. but as i was lazy to walk, i sat on a bus and relaxed. it was also very hot. :P

okies. thats it for part one. save myself for tomorrow. tonite's dinner gotta be turkey meat and carrots ? and onions. stewed i guess.
oh.. note to self: sainsbury's bread is good.. but it literally falls apart after a few days. i mean it looks compact when u first buy it. it's like rye bread. but then after that it just sorts of crumbles. i think i'll stick back to morrisons.
and another note. the cheap squash sold by tesco and sainsbury looks the same. only different labelling. ahh well.. the little joys of comparisons. lotsa work to do. toodles.

[EDIT] OUCH !! i just found out i need a tuxedo for a black tie event in a month's time. er.. i wonder if my g2000 suit would do. i know i need to get a bow tie. and a shirt. the rest can use my current one kua. sien.. why go on holiday need to have a black tie event.. unless we're mixing with the stars... bah humbugs. *IDEA* i'll ask my aunt's hubby see if he got any bow ties or not.

Hi there,

Casme to your blog through the link from Piffles @ Yvonne. I'm bumming around London at the moment as well, while looking for the elusive training contract. You're quite mysterious, care to tell a bit about yourself?

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

of brussels sprouts and racial features.

brussel sprouts are in season i think. they are going for 1 pack for 52p. it used to be like 1/4 of the pack for £1. but now seems to be cheaper. oh yeah. it seems to be siu pak choi. but it just didnt opened. anyways, that nite i went to morrisons, to buy more food. but when i walked halfway i found out that i didnt bring my wallet.. ^$£"%$£^%$ but lucky i had coins in my pocket. all i had was 96p. how sad.. lol . i went to the store to look for nga choi. er.. whta they call them here.. i think some sort of beans.. they usually sell them for 45p. i wanted it cos i cooked chicken rice mah. but then they didnt have it. and they have mixed stir fried thingy which was £1.29. poor ole me didnt buy it cos i didnt have enough lol so i hunted for cheap stir fry vege, the sprouts looked like a cheaper alternative. well.. i bought it. cooked it ate it with chicken rice. next thing i knew.. i was down with a bloody cough. ugh.. lotsa phlegm. not sure how i got it.. but that aside, i've ...

Mr. Kipling's Battenberg Cake. looks nice..

hmmm been so busy on friday forgot to update. will post 2 post to console myself today. to the cake. cake looks cute. but tastes horrible. maybe it was because i bought it cheap from sainsbury . it's original price was £1.29. but i bought it for 49p. cheap as i was. maybe that's the reason the cake tasted bad.. but the expiry wasnt till anohter 2 days time. :P anyways, it tasted like smelled like cough syrup. u know those red coloured ones. tasted okays. the outer layer is just icing erm or rather sugar.. no ideas waht that was but it was SWEET. then inside, just like the normal sponge cake. all in all.. i wouldnt buy it ever again. :P here are the pics.
