Fig Rolls .

hmm i dun remember how much i bought this for i think it was for about 40p from netto.
but its taste is similar to the khye guan grape biscuits from home. but this is definitely much nicer.
i remembered i first ate this when i was five. and this was expensive back home. i think it costed around 5 ringgit ? or maybe i can't remember. the taste is heavenly.
it must be the biscuit. the figs taste like grapes. and it's full of fillings. that's why i like it.
now it's so cheap, i get to buy it everyweek. ehehe

Oh yea...these are wonderful stuff. They used to be available in Malaysian supermarkets a long time ago, but seem to have disappeared.

that one of course la. i get to buy it everyweek but i don't. it's nice to know i can get it when i want. hehehe. actually i eat the whoe packet in one go already sien lor.

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
