picture this.
i checked flights for hamburg for a certain date 2-3 weeks in advance.
being the undecisive person as i am, i checked for the best dates and thought it over and asked my senior if i would be able to take holidays on these dates.
apparently, he didnt know he could tell me i could take the dates, so as i kept on checking the price on ryanair's website, i didnt know that they had a mechanism to increase the price after a certain number of ppl/times had clicked on the specific dates and times.
when i checked it was £32.98 for a return trip.
then i thought that would be okays. but i didnt do anything about it..
then after 1 hour later, i got the confirmation that i could go for holiday on those dates.
and then i clicked on the same dates i searched about an hour earlier..
guess what.. the price increased.. i said wtf ??
come on... it's not right . i just checked an hour ago it was 32.98.. now it's gone to 48.98 ???
so what do i do.. ? i thought the prices goes up as soon as ppl booked all the cheap ones. so i was thinking. should i book or not ??
then because i was scared i wasnt gonna get to hamburg after hearing my colleague tell me good stuffs about hamburg.. i went home that nite and booked it at the higher price.
then the next day when i checked the flight details again just out of a whim ..
OMGWTFBBQ... the price went back to the normal £32.98..
right. this should be how ryanair's website really works then. it has an automated system that increases the price each time somebody clicks to book it but doesn't.
so the next time somebody tries it.. the price increases after a certain number of clicks.
this wasnt the first time i got conned lol . first time was i was going to rome. and i didnt know better and i didnt recheck the website.
this time i am going alone and i had lotsa time on my hands, so i checked the flight details again..
lol. damn.. right next time i know what to do ..
if the price is too high, check it again another day. cos usually a flight with ryanair, if booked 2-3 weeks in advance, shouldn't be more than 30-40£. if lucky, might be able to get the flight for about £25..
anyways, that's it for my utter dumbness.
