of long acre, covent garden, wetherspoon victoria station

saturday was a day out for me again. friday nite slept at half 2. which i suspect was a serious mistake cos i had to wake up at half 5 to get to victoria station to meet up with the group who was supposed to be there at quarter to 7.
finished out of town business at about 4 pm. saw some REAL trainspotters in clapham junction's train station(complete with notepads and stuffs). drank a 1664, and then a tequila. then till half 7 (this was in wetherspoon victoria station). took the tube to covent garden
there we drank again. i got a corona ( seriously didnt like that taste.) got a bit light and heady. kept snapping photos but didnt know what i was doing.
ate some nachos, fries with mayo and ketchup. yum.
then i really had to go.. b4 i went i bought like 8 shots of tequila from the bar. drank it down. went home with a big bloody headache.
btw, the long acre had lousy tequila service. the lemons they gave was in form of a slice. SLICE.. ugh.. other pubs i've been to, they gave in forms of quartets. or seomthing like that.. definitely NOT slices.
whetherspoons had better tequila i think.
went back home. flopped on the bed. never woke up till next morning 845am. incidently i slept at 1100pm . and the time was changed. meaning we gained an extra hour
so i slept about a good 10 hours.
sunday i cooked chicken rice. morrisons was having this chicken thighs for £2.69 BOGOF( buy one get one free).
cooked first one chicken rice. cos the pot wasnt big enough to put 2 packets in. so the other packet i marinated with curry powder + chilli powder and some weird powder.
rice was too sticky.. too much chicken stock.. next time i'll try less chicken stock.
oh yeah.. i put in ground tumeric for colour.( which i think made it turn out like malay chicken rice)
right which means dinner for this whole week will be chicken rice. later gotta go buy some vege to fry else..sure cacated.

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

A short history of my reading of books

I read 3 books on sat and sunday. some say i don't really read these books that i say i read because i read so fast that i can't possibly grasp the entire story. and some say stories are best read slowly and digested slowly. I've always been a person who rushes through most of the things i do. sometimes i take time and do the stuffs slowly sometimes quickly. kk. right now from saturday onwards, i'm gonna keep count on how many books i can read till i exhaust the feeling that i wanna read books. i started reading when i was 8 years old. i mean REALLY into reading. i spent one year living with my aunt back in sibu and while all my older cousins were studying and doing their own things, i sat down in front of the TV and watched the friday's cartoon. about a whale with special powers. ( this was usually met by my uncle with dark looks because i watch too much telly.) i read the whole childcraft encyclopedia. ( it wasn't hard because it was done in such a way that a ...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
