I went to Kew Gardens to catch the autumn colours.

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usI thought i needed to do soemthing.. and it seems that UK is quite famous for its gardens as well. also i wanted to see the colours of gold in fall. but then i was suprised when i went there not all of them were golden yet. Some maples and some hickory were changing colours. (frankly speaking i didnt know which tree is which except for the maple ones... and i STILL don't know about which tree looks like what.)
well i suppose it's a start.
the kew gardens have a website which is http://www.kew.org.
note: lotsa old ppl, a few families. i spent 2 and half hours in there.. cos i didnt know what to do in a garden. i brought my own food. and bought coke from the nearby store.
enjoyed myself. hehe. there were lotsa ducks. and i saw the mandarin duck. or at least i think it's the mandarin duck.
oh yeah.. i had trouble cos i forgot my bank details as i needed it to become a premier friend of kew. ( membership thingy)
i think all in all , £40 for the annual fee, i spent £5 for the tube pass( was supposed to go grocery shopping but WoW-ed too much till very lazy.) £2 on coke.( 90p from the store, and 84p from tesco)
and £1 for internet access in kew village to get my bank details. grumbles.
was that all i spent.. i think that's all.
i've got about 260++ photos from that trip alone. i think i'll have to go get sommore as i'm not pleased with the quality of the photos i took.
right, this is it for sunday. i have time to blog only because the game server is down for maintenance. haha
oh yah .. for this whole month they are having this 5 million cranberries in a traditional bog. and also the pumpkin show. they used the waterlilies glass house to put the pumpkins.. waterlilies only bloom once a year ?? !!?? dunno

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

A short history of my reading of books

I read 3 books on sat and sunday. some say i don't really read these books that i say i read because i read so fast that i can't possibly grasp the entire story. and some say stories are best read slowly and digested slowly. I've always been a person who rushes through most of the things i do. sometimes i take time and do the stuffs slowly sometimes quickly. kk. right now from saturday onwards, i'm gonna keep count on how many books i can read till i exhaust the feeling that i wanna read books. i started reading when i was 8 years old. i mean REALLY into reading. i spent one year living with my aunt back in sibu and while all my older cousins were studying and doing their own things, i sat down in front of the TV and watched the friday's cartoon. about a whale with special powers. ( this was usually met by my uncle with dark looks because i watch too much telly.) i read the whole childcraft encyclopedia. ( it wasn't hard because it was done in such a way that a ...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
