Chinatown on an early Saturday morning and An (new) OLD modem 56kbps

to think that after so many years... i have to do an installation this modem in a computer. i never thought that i'll ever touch those modems again. they are freaking slow. i can't imagine i did use this kind of modems b4. i can remmeber just downloading from irc about 4k per sec for mp3s... OMG.... SLOW... i had the chance of re-living that memory when i had to test out the modem i installed. *cries* .. thanks to whoever invented the mighty broadband... anyways, installed it.. end of story. :P but it's not in my computer.

on the same day itself, that morning i walked passed chinatown. it was different from the other times i walked passed because this time there were lotsa trucks/lorries/watever blocking the roads and they were restocking the chinese supermarkets i frequent. but nonetheless, a sight to see where the parts of chinatown is a little different without the tourists/chineseconsumers/whoever that just happened to be there at that point of time.
i finished ANOTHER can of pringles... but on a side note.. i managed to push 30 push ups out of myself. considering i only managed 10 many weeks back. hopefully i'll get to 50 b4 end of this month.. i doubt it..

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

A short history of my reading of books

I read 3 books on sat and sunday. some say i don't really read these books that i say i read because i read so fast that i can't possibly grasp the entire story. and some say stories are best read slowly and digested slowly. I've always been a person who rushes through most of the things i do. sometimes i take time and do the stuffs slowly sometimes quickly. kk. right now from saturday onwards, i'm gonna keep count on how many books i can read till i exhaust the feeling that i wanna read books. i started reading when i was 8 years old. i mean REALLY into reading. i spent one year living with my aunt back in sibu and while all my older cousins were studying and doing their own things, i sat down in front of the TV and watched the friday's cartoon. about a whale with special powers. my boring weekend

i went to camden on sat and almost got rammed by a stupid green car on the way back. anyways, i was bored. and it was a nice day. don't know anything bout tour de france, or wimbledon. took my bike out. and cycled down towards camden. it was a change from cycling to work. i spent £7 in sainsburys cos they were having a half price sale on john west's tuna in cans. the usual price is about £3.19. bought some stuffs.. ( coulnd't buy a lot cos i don't wanna ride home on a punctured bike) but i bought too many as well. i bought jaffa biscuit for 69p. for 24 pieces. finished it b4 sat was over. took some photos on the way. went into o2 to see if i could get any nice phones for free. turned out that i couldn't because i havent paid any phone bills since last year. looks like i'm gonna hvae to switch my sim card to a pay as you go thingy. then i went to the outdoor emporium to take a look at the karrimor travelpack. i dunno why .. that one seems to call out to me other...
