Tuesday ? - valentine's ? friggin spring showers are here..

yeah .. it was lucky i was out of the house early. it started drizzling about 5 mins b4 i reached my work. at least i never got wet.
i'm just too lazy to post pictures i do have them in my phone but i havent got time to switch it to download.
that's all because of those japanese drama (jdorama) serials i'm following now. they are okays. i do understand some the story ( they don't have subtitles ya know) and maybe some of the words they are using. but slowly and surely . hehe.
it's all because of the dratted beach boys serial. it was in vhs format. quality is a bit old.. but the storyline is just about living life. what would i be doing if i could throw away my watch and not look at the time and then go to the beach and live in a inn doing some carefree life ? hehe. it seems that one of my friends done it. and it was really fun. and he would like to do it again though.
but then again.. like they say in the movies, u can only do it for a certain period of time, cos it's just like a loooong vacation.
anyways, it's been quite a while since i've watched any dramas or serials. thought i might just give it another try.
oh yeah, i found out that my cookworks steamer steams rice nicely. but it is wet.. i mean my rice would have lotsa water.. maybe not alot.. but then if i leave it out for about 10 mins.. the water will be soaked into the rice and dried up and then the rice would be just nice to eat.
other than that, i'm almost through with my wontons. need to make more. and as well as i bought celery just to try. it was only 39p in morrisons. though i dont relish the thought of eating it raw. i bought it so that i could try steaming it in the steamer. it seems that it's not so hard to eat it after all. hehe.
the reason i dislike celery was because when i was about 16 i think, i had to do a test detox thingy. 7 days without food. only soup and some weird drinks prepared for me by my mom. after the 3rd day, i couldnt take it anymore. those detox programmes are gonna kill me. i was still playing basketball at that time though. cycling as well. though i can't remember much. was trying to gain weight. and yeah.. some stupid guy in wisma pelita sold me expired weight gain products. grumbles.
done and said, celery soup and some carrots was my meals during the detox. and u know, celery smells BITTER !!! HORRENDOUSLY BITTER !! :P
anyways, back to work now.. too much to do ..
ta.

oh yeah i forgot.
Happy valentine's day !

hmmm it also seems that my cookle thingy went down. anywyas, that was just a test run. will not put it up anymore.

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
