Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usPoppadoms. papadoms. or whatever doms. all i know about it is that it's nice to eat when u're having lotsa hot stuffs.. it seems to take the hotness away. it's just like those chinese prawn crackers. but i dont see me eating the chinese prawn crackers with my meals do i ?
okies. first things first, this is the first time i've seen poppadoms sold i mean the raw stuffs. i've never seen things like that in KL. omg... suaku.. hehe. all i ever needed to do when i wanna go eat poppadoms was just to pop in into an indian restaurant or some indian coffee shop for nasi briyani and then i get lotsa poppadoms.
but like they say, you won't know what you've lost till u really can't find it. hehe. i was here for about 16 months b4 i knew there was such a thing that was sold in supermarkets.
as for this one.. i just microwaved it. it tasted nice. no oil. so it's a LITTLE bit healthier. that's all i can say about it. i bought 5 packs of it. after i went back to morrisons to check, there wasn't anymore. the others they were selling were like with special nuts or something that costs about 59p each.

oh yeah, it's amazing you know. i called o2 on sunday and i didnt even have to get the answering machine. i guess o2 were busy partying the friday nite b4 and was grossly hungover from the amazingly good stuffs they had. wait wait.. this is my hypothesis. how else would u explain that i got the machine EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALLE D... heh.. now that's thats. o2 matter settled. i never did find out why they never did pick up the phone.

note: weekends food. - chicken - last of the chinese chicken. noodle soup with brocoli and egg. i forgot to put seaweed in it.. gah!!
rice, fried noodles with eggs, fish fingers, spinach and carrots. carrots seems to be the cheapest thing i buy. it was 27p for 500g when i first bought it.. now it's 28p.
talk about prices.. i tihnk the price of cucumber went up. it's now 78p per long cucumber compared to when they were selling it by weight.
and oh yeah.. last but not least, i made some mar poh tofu. it's okays. i can't remember the real taste of it.. but i did put alot of weird stuffs. hahha and it's EXTRA SPICY. yum..

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

brussel sprouts are in season i think. they are going for 1 pack for 52p. it used to be like 1/4 of the pack for £1. but now seems to be cheaper. oh yeah. it seems to be siu pak choi. but it just didnt opened. anyways, that nite i went to morrisons, to buy more food. but when i walked halfway i found out that i didnt bring my wallet.. ^$£"%$£^%$ but lucky i had coins in my pocket. all i had was 96p. how sad.. lol . i went to the store to look for nga choi. er.. whta they call them here.. i think some sort of beans.. they usually sell them for 45p. i wanted it cos i cooked chicken rice mah. but then they didnt have it. and they have mixed stir fried thingy which was £1.29. poor ole me didnt buy it cos i didnt have enough lol so i hunted for cheap stir fry vege, the sprouts looked like a cheaper alternative. well.. i bought it. cooked it ate it with chicken rice. next thing i knew.. i was down with a bloody cough. ugh.. lotsa phlegm. not sure how i got it.. but that aside, i've ...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
