Chinese New Year - always red

what is a chinese new year without redness.. my dumb cleaver wanted to be red too even though it was stainless steel so it took a bit of my redness. i had to tie my flow of redness with a rubber band. it's amazing. that i dont actually appreciate my thumb till i can't really use it. anyways, my thumb is almost back to normal. healing pretty rapidly. it's all thanks to lotsa vitamin C plus some meat. and lotsa tea tree oil oh yes.. and my trusty rubber band.
it's a beautiful day.

I watched the whole season 2 of 24. and beach boys (japanese series Note to self:must get the dvds.)

food: i made wontons i think i did sya it.anyways, i'm getting old. i made curry too. too bad i forgot my tummy shrunk due my new way of eating which is eat more times with less food. instead of the normal things eat less time with lotsa food. hehe.
so now i'm left with lotsa food. yummy. then i wouldnt really have to cook alot.
ta.
happy chinese new year. it's back to work back to work.

[Edit]
Note: watching beach boys reminds me of going home. it was back then when they didnt have any mobile phones.. if i wasnt wrong i first heard about beach boys when i was 18-19 back in college when this friend introduced me to japanese stuffs. muahahhahaha
SPEED !!! their songs were not too bad. but crap.. when i found out they were only 12
?? never mind.. hehe. but i can't imagine if there were no mobile fones now..

In regards of "red" for Chinese New Year: man am so glad that the walls at my flat are damn bright red! That, apparently, made me feel like having "chinese new year" all year round! *deep sigh*
wahahhaa .. red walls .. that sounds like a room out of a movie :P but red is good. it's fiery !! Have a good one too :)

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
