short update blog meet in london. reminds me of IRC meets 10 years ago :P

right.. the title does make me sound old.. but not as old as i felt when jon mentioned.. "i thought u were younger". hahahaha!!
never mind that. we met up at cafe rendezvous where all they served was yoghurt icecream. or drinks. erm i wasnt that thirsty or hungry to eat yoghurt. i ate enough yoghurt when i was growing up to last a lifetime. considering i've a mom who made them every other day. fresh yoghurt everyday. eat it and it's good for you. sister liked it more than i did i think. :P
now u gotta imagine.. lessee.. patrick and vish was there first. i didnt know where was the cafe. but i was lucky to put the map on my fone b4 i went. so at least i knew roughly where it was. well.. i walked the other way and then i found out it was on the other side of the park. will post the pics up in later on monday if i'm not that freaking busy.
anyways, reached there. talked for a bit. met vish. then jon and jenni came. vish's friend was there as well. then a few more of them joined in afterwards.
felt hungry. asked them when should we go and eat. it was at wagamama. too long a queue. didnt wanna wait. walked to china town. into a restaurant. ate. went to borders read a bit then bought a frappucino. £2.90 for a grande. that's london for u. not sure bout the price back home. but b4 i left, prices in kl were still at RM11.00.
right, all in all i had fun. made it felt like home. heheh. at least i didnt really need to speak proper english. :p
met a korean who said, if u asked me which part of korea i'm from.. have u ever met anyone from any other part of korea... lol. apparently north koreans can't leave the country ? not sure.
and met a guy from Uzbezkistan. learnt a few russian words to test out on my colleague on monday.
supin sin, atig galiboy and takizo or something like that. muahahhahahahha
met a indian londoner as well. all in all , great meet up.
ahh back to the title. hehe.
the last time i did this kind of meet up over the internet was about 9 years ago. i put 10 years cos it makes it sound nicer. hehe. well IRC was the IN thing back then. it was still fun. i do keep in touch with a few of them from the IRC days. most of us never use IRC anymore but those were the days.
now the IN thing now is bloggers meetup. they are EVERYWHERE !!!
yeah wanted to write this down b4 i forget about the irc meet.
was in borders and found out that they were having some sort of anime convention in excel centre in docklands next weekend. will try my best to make it there . hehe
nites for tday.

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
