apart from being busy with games, and books and other stuffs,
i've been trying to find ways to reduce my ever present boredom. i tried to get one of those online stock trading accts.
wanna learn about other stuffs too. so i tried to apply from a few websites to open a online stock trading acct.
1. http://www.selftrade.co.uk
2. http://www.fool.co.uk/share-dealing/share-dealing.aspx
3. http://www.hsbc.co.uk
well.. like they said.. 3rd time a charm..
1 and 2 needed me to send stuffs to them.. and as usual.. when i have to do stuffs manual stuffs apart from looking at the monitor. i get fedup.
selftrade charges £25 p.a for a self select shares isa.
and £12.50 per trade made on the dealings acct.
fool does it for £2.50 less at £10.00 per trade. and they don't charge for the self select p.a
hsbc does it weirder. £11.65 for each trade and add an extra 5£ for trades under the self select shares isa.
right now i'm trying to find ppl who knows how to read financial statements and give me a brief run through ..
though the websites are doing well enough.
and i still need to know how to buy blue chips/ growth stocks..
sigh..
so much to learn.. so little time.
pray i get better luck in this than the weekly national lottery draws lol
