o2 ? pah !! bring it on !

anyways, in preparation for my mom's arrival tomorrow, had to go get stuffs ready in part of which was to get a new sim card.
so i went to o2, i asked if they could unlock my k800i for me.
this REALLY obnoxious guy said no. u gotta take it to the shops.
then when i asked for a new sim card, i was borderlined on about to throw a fit.. ( which wasn't very nice of me.. which i didn't)
anyways, long story short, i didn't managed to get my sony ericssons ke800i mobile unlocked.
but i managed to spend 20£ for a new sim card. with a tenner credit and another 10 on my current number.
and then i knew the shops outside can unlock my simlocked phone for me.. BUT i really don't wanna pay money for something i can do. or think i can do.
rather thought i could do. ( it took me 4 hours. T_T)
i bricked my phone a few times.. it couldn't start up.
but following the guide from a blogspot thing..
i managed to rebrand my phone from an o2 phone startup to an ORANGE phone. while still running on o2. and it still was locked..
so that means that tutorial was not quite right.
so far i seeked the source of the tool.
found it !
the tool mentioned a few more steps that was missing from the tutorial.
T_T.
anyways, long story short. i managed to unlock my phone. yay !!
if i calculated the time i spent on trying to unlock my phone compared with the amount of money i would have earned during that 4 hours..
i guess my earnings would be about £2.50 and hour depending on how much a charge for unlocking a phone is.. the whole process only took like 20 mins.
geez... i should have found the right source b4 i did anything.
and o2, u can't bloody blame me for unlocking my phone.. ur customer svc advisor said u wouldn't do it. ! so there :P
incidentally. his name is H*m**d. now how many of them are there in the world that have the same name. ?

okok done. time to go to get some groceries.
remove the sim lock link here

EDIT: some notes i got from the net.. forgot where i found it..

just got mine unlocked by orange, aparently you have to switch off the phone, remove sim, turn back on without sim, message 'insert sim card will show, press joystick left, star(*) key twice and joystick left again, network will appear, press select and insert a code, can't give you mine, wouldn't work as it only works with my imei, don't know if this is any help

Most Sony Ericsson phones have a special combination of button pushes to get to the service menu screen. You will need to press
"Right * Left Left * Left *" to get into the service menu. Next click on
service info and then Software information.

T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
