happy new year.
pre christmas and christmas
i spent my time at home doing nothing and lepaking and watching house and some other animes.
then i went to norway on the 29th.
... STILL no luck with pretty girls on airplanes.
going there i got a free seat next to me.. so it was good. more space for me to sleep.
coming back i got the double whammy.
1. i chose the wrong seat. window.
2. the other 2 seats were filled with one FAT HUGE man on the aisle and a granny in the middle seat. T_T ..
3. the worst part is that i was in a urgent need to go to the washroom. i had to hold it in till i got to the airport in london.

okies. that was that.
i managed to ski. 7 days of holiday in norway.
quick recap.
saturday 29th dec.
1st day . oslo was not snowing. took the train to vinstra then a bus to gala. tired after 24 hours door to door.
sunday 30 dec
2nd day . went to the hotel climbed up some slopes to get to the hotel. VERY tiring.. and got lost after renting skis and after trying to ski back to the cabin. T_T. ( not very smart lol)
monday 31 dec
3rd day. tried skiing down to the baby slopes. found out there WERE baby slopes to ski. so played around the baby slopes and then went to the middle of the blue slope to go a little faster.
mind me, i didnt know how to ski ... no lessons yet.

4th day i think we took one lesson from a private tutor. 45 mins session. taught us how to plough/pizza/turn.
after the lesson i was more confident in turning.. so i thought i'd be able to make it nicely.

5th day i went up a little too high in the blue slope and then thought i would ski down. but ... when i looked down.. i panicked and sorta used my butt to go down. hahaha

6th day . i managed to get a little courage due to the others who went up the slope and i could just try to follow their steps.
after that i got more confident. it was okay.

7th day last day of skiing. rented till then. went up the red slope. ( about half way too. ) it was night skiing. very cool.

8th day. packed up and ready to go back to oslo.
sunday 6th jan 2008
9th day. met up with my friend and saw their place. nice. !! makes me wanna get a place of my own.
well.. that's a pretty long holiday i think.

How was skiing? Enjoyed it? I'm getting lured by so many people nowadays to give it a try. I just can't get holidays!
skiing was good. i am going to go again.. once i recover lol
u should go too. snowboarding is cooler.. but skiing is fun too.
