my long weekend -- finally...

1. i almost forgot to put the site live. but lucky i remembered at about 10.
2. i bought 3 packs of chicken wings on saturday to deepfry like KFC.. turns out that my chickens weren't as good as KFC.. i think not enough salt and not enough chilli powder. bah humbugs.
3. i went to the library again and borrowed a few more books. now i've 10 books in my room and i've read like 5 of them i think.
4. i bought the travelpack global 70-90 karrimor. and it wasn't as big as i thought it would be but it was good. a black one. the daypack was BIG. anyways, bigger than the one i use to put my cycling stuffs in.
5. i think i pulled my finger too much that i accidentally sprained it on sunday when i woke up and it HURT so bad. i was thinking of going to a clinic on monday morning.
6. i used the analgelsic cream given to me for my shoulder last time and put it on my finger. well.. dunno if that worked. but it's almost back to normal now.
7. i still need the strapping tape to cover the tattoo else i don't think will be able to get into the onsen baths when i go .
8. everything else is prepared.
9. payday is end of this week and it's a 4 day week. yippee.
10. so all in all .. i sorta enjoyed my weekend if it wasn't for the fact that my finger hurt.
*grumbles*
i looked up sprained finger.. my finger didn't swell up or anything.. it just hurt. like a case of mistaken nerves. bah humbugs.
my friend said it was arthritis.. i said.. $%"£$&"$%%$ :P
bah humbugs it was just ONE finger.. i must have used the finger too much when i cycle. u know.. the rude sign.

last few things needed.
last of money changed.. i think it's not gonna be as high as before.. but sigh..
need a notebook to jot downs my notes on my travel.
i can't think of any.. all the places i went to to look for a travel checklist .. i can't seem to find one..
sigh.. i'll just do the usual. walk in the room.bathroom.etc. see what i usually use and pack it.

that's it for today. time is a bit slower today.

If you're not asthmatic, take an ibuprofen if your finger still hurts. I don't think it is arthritis, probably you've just hurt it accidentally. Get it some rest!

You had a tattoo? Ouch, didn't that hurt? Btw, when are you heading to Japan? Do you mind helping me look out for some stuff?

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

A short history of my reading of books

I read 3 books on sat and sunday. some say i don't really read these books that i say i read because i read so fast that i can't possibly grasp the entire story. and some say stories are best read slowly and digested slowly. I've always been a person who rushes through most of the things i do. sometimes i take time and do the stuffs slowly sometimes quickly. kk. right now from saturday onwards, i'm gonna keep count on how many books i can read till i exhaust the feeling that i wanna read books. i started reading when i was 8 years old. i mean REALLY into reading. i spent one year living with my aunt back in sibu and while all my older cousins were studying and doing their own things, i sat down in front of the TV and watched the friday's cartoon. about a whale with special powers. ( this was usually met by my uncle with dark looks because i watch too much telly.) i read the whole childcraft encyclopedia. ( it wasn't hard because it was done in such a way that a ...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
