the door bell rang, and i was in the middle of getting in my track pants to get ready to go to the kitchen to see if my food was ready. out standing in the cold, was a girl with a pram. she was asking for help. she wanted me to .... help her open the door for her so she could go in her house. i went in my room, got my key. so i wouldnt get locked out of my house. so i walked over to her flat. so tried opening it .. it had 2 locks. one was those normal key types and the other was the older type of key where it had a keyhole that u can see through. well, cut the long story short, she forgot to open the top lock that's why she couldnt open her door. and then she couldnt take the key out of her door. haha. funny. anyways, she said to leave it there. so i left her to do her own stuffs. then when my food was cooked. i was planning to WoW. after i washed the dishes. was talking to flatmate about going to bicester again this year after boxing day. kk. that's done. then i was washing my...

. last nite went back. threw the rubbish outside the flat. i think the collectors come at about 8pm-ish. and was trying to think of what to cook. i contemplated against making fish fingers with salad. but it turned out my fridge died again.. i dun understand it.. it just turns off. grumbles. and then my salad went bad. so there's no salad to be eaten. and then i thought wth, lets cook spaghetti, then i washed the pot. and then suddenly realized that it was awfully quiet, and the water was running cold. GAH!! the heater was not working. and that would mean we ran out of gas. and the feller who tops up the gas ( we use a gas card) not in. so cannot cook anything. then i was thinking should i go out and buy food. then i remembered that i havent had rice in AGES. so out came the steamer. and + 4 eggs + canned tuna + half a can of corn. steamed rice + steamed eggs + the rest of them. finished it off. phew.. i wouldnt hvae cooked rice if there was gas. bah i guess it worked out all good...

went to this pub for lunch. was contemplating on whether to eat KFC or greggs, or subway or anything else. went to kfc, was packed and no place to sit. we went to the pub around the corner. had jumbo haddock and chips and peas. and a pint of coke. my backbone still hurts a little. but my thighs no more. i cycled to work today. weather was really windy and cold. bah humbugs. the right side of my leg hurts.. somewhere below my tummy .. maybe it's my appendix.. or kidney.. hmmm never mind. still alive. one of my bosses borrowed my bike. hope he's okay with it. hehe. nothing else to report. last nite had maggi. didnt finish it cos i got ulcers.. can't open my mouth to swear. must be a good sign.. since i can't open my mouth.. telling me to swear less. lol on the other hand, i've gotta find a date to get the blond to go to the gardens with me. and i found out my photography of humans weren't as good as i thought it was. so i'm so dissatisfied. or wassit unsatisfi...

finally i have a few photos to post up. to see that i havent been posting any photos since way back. right, i've heard my colleague rave about the eclairs in france. so i went ahead to buy one. 2.60 euros for one it was filled with chocolate or soemthing.. didnt really taste like chocolate but it was RICH. next is the photo of the place we stayed in. the sunterra resorts thingy done in by some timeshare stuffs. not sure about the details as it was my sister's (family) planning and expense. :P rants. it was 8.10 euros to get from gare du nord to charles de gaulle airport using the metro. WTF... okok. maybe i thought it was 4 euros or 2 euros liddat.. that's why that freaked me out. i mean .. who pays so much to get the metro to the airport anyways. ugh.. i had to go to the airport cos we're suppoosed to meet up with my sister and daughter there. not speaking french doesnt really help when all i could say is parlez vouz anglais? lol. anyways, i definitely will learn anoth...

had a few good photos. tried to take photos of my niece. looks alright. i hope that looks more like a pro shot than a normal shoot. but then again it's all up to the viewer's opinion. france was good for sat. and sun. monday was pissy rain. went to eiffel tower. 1st floor only cos i'm afraid of heights. spent a few good days with my sister and her family. her husband came a day late cos of flight thingys. had my first experience with a tom tom. got us out of the airport and to the destination with little or no problem at all. then the tom tom went haywire the next day. came back on monday nite. eurostar had delays cos it sort of failed the pre departure tests. but it left after 45 mins. took the usual bus 29 home. aunt had to put up with me for a nite cos her hubby said it was too late for her to go home alone. so it was the couch for me again.. on the way back, there was a cute girl in the bus. my aunt said she kept staring at me. or in better words.. kept checking me out....

okies.. last nite i worked till 230am. reached home 3. slept 330am. woke up at 915. got to work at 1030 am this morning. ate spicy pork from samurai again. when i reached home i was hungry and tired.. lazy to cook. so ate a whole tin of pringles. and a can of coke. wooo hoo.. today after work, went to the bar. walked with a girl from work. was drizzling. didnt like umbrellas so didnt share one with her. she said i had dark blue eyes. she's gotta be kidding. i'm pure asian and i have brown eyes. anyways, it was the way the light reflected in that bar. or maybe she was just trying to be nice to me cos i bought her a drink. lol. chatted at the bar with colleagues. then another girl said she wanted to go home and it was on the way.. since it was late and i need to get home as well, i havent packed for my trip yet. walked towards warren st. took my bus there. incidently, i think we got along pretty well. and incidentally as well, she was a blue eyed blonde. lol. jokes aside, a sligh...

nothing much to do with buses. but today i took the bus. i swiped once. then another and then another. so in total i took 3 buses down to work today. sides, it was raining. ok. here's the bugger. i forgot that i only took 3 buses today. cos i was adamant that i was overcharged by tfl. cos they were supposed to cap it at £3 a day for oyster card. so i have no ideas what caused me to think that i was overcharged. i kept thinking that i took 4 buses. so i was supposedly in my mind charged 1, 0.80, then 0.80, 0.80. so that totals up to £3.40. i think i must have been dreaming. cos when i went to the station to check my journey record, it showed that i did 3 buses. ugh.. i made a fool out of myself by going up to the counter in goodge st to ask the guy working there. omg.. imagine my embarrassment. anyways. i didnt shout or throw a fit or anything. it was just so unimaginably wrong. i am slippin. is this the sign of me getting too old for my age. okies. that sorted. i took the bus today...

hmm it just had to happen. when i cycle, i work late. i seem to be seeing a trend here. not good. does it mean that i can't cycle to work? anyways, took the bus home (left my bike at work)cos it was late last nite and i had dinner quite late. dinner was the fully loaded meal of KFC which costs about £3.99. lets hope tonite is not a late nite. late nite last nite wasnt too hard to handle as WoW server's gone down till tonite. so it would mean that i've no WoW tonite as well. hmm which reminds me i need to buy stuffs from virgin.tesco.hmv? lemme go after work. last nite i dreamt of kelly. no idea who that was as well as i've never seen her irl. but she was pretty lol. and dreamt of a bunch of friends who wanted to cut my hair with a razor and those see saw scissors. which actually makes some sense as i need to cut my hair soon. oh and note. i switched the fridge plug to a wall mains.. and it still was working when i left it this morning. touch wood. lets hope it's sti...

time shown half 8. i was still comfortable. i pressed the snooze button. i slept peacefully. then i realized that my snooze button never rang. saw the time.. quarter to 10. OMG.. crap.. i'm late.. literally jumped out of my bed. jeans. wash face, brush teeth, wet hair. shirt. then packed. late means bicycle. there's no way i can get to work within 45 mins if i take the bus. so i took my bike. geez.. wheeled the bike out.. downstairs already .. then i realized i forgot my medicine. $^$"£%. went back up. got the medicine. time was 1010am. came out again.. cycled like mad.. eyes were watering due to the cold air. nose was running as well. trying to cycle to catch up with them. finally reached office at 1030. locked the bike. now i'm dreading the ride home as i dun like cycling lol. but i prefer it to taking the bus. right.. that's it for today. cough is almost gone. slept like a baby last nite.. still clearing last of cough phlegm. but should be fine by tomorrow. hmm ...

and all i wanted was a jab or something to help me sleep at nite. i walked to the NHS walk-in clinic. they directed me to the hospital. i went to the hospital shortly b4 work was finished. wheeled my bike there. locked it.. that was all i remembered. reliving the ordeal- 1. walked in to the A&E. told them i was coughing blood and the receptionist gave me a mask that looked like a duck bill. and requested that i put it on immediately. 2. they guided me into the other waiting room. 3. waited for a nurse to check me. BP and all. 4. went to a cubicle and waited for a few hours in there b4 i heard the dreaded u're not going home today. had ECG of my heart. 5. saw a few mixture of doctors. 1 final year med student. 2 male docs. and a female ID doc. 6. got a few needles poked in me. ( something left for the IV drip) 7. they took like at least 6 bottles of blood from me. ( well, tubes maybe) 8. got wheeled up the ward to my private room (even had a ensuite) just like on tv. they even h...

i know i've been straying away from mentioning about how i live. haha. not just memories of bygones. like they say , let bygones be bygones. i woke up REAL sleepy today. wanted to call in sick but decided against it.. thought the cycling would do me good. went to work. then popped by the walk in clinic** around soho square during lunch time to check out my cough. they were real nice. but they couldnt help me. cos i think cos i said i was coughing blood. lol clumps of blood. so i need to go see the doctor. as all the walk in clinics, don't have the facility or the personnel to deal with a little major stuff. they do minor stuffs.etc etc. anyways, the nurse was nice. should i call her a health personnel to be more PC? she asked me a few questions. which i could have done so. well, cos i got some information about my coughing from the internet b4 i went and basically what she told me was what i found out on the net. but best not to do self diagnosis as all the smart-asses die fast...

i've been listening to mandarin/cantonese songs for the past few days. and not to say that songs are not good. but they do sound very nice. especially er.. i can't remember who sang what.. cos i don't read chinese.. hell, i don't even really understand half of what the songs are about. but i think it's basically like that for me. it goes in one ear and out the other. like water off a duck's back. BUT.. when i listen to a few songs long enough, the next time i hear any part of it, i can distinctly remember about the memory associated with the time i was playing that song over and over again. like for instance, Mr. boombastic.. by shaggy .. lol each time i hear that, i remember about the high school days. man... i can't believe i did those things.. i think i know my cough is going away now.. soon.. cos it doesnt seem to be as bad as before. but the funny thing is that my ears now can't pop. it's like being in an airplane and the pressure did something to the ear and i can't hear properly. not that i use my ears alot. like, there's a lot of things i don't wanna hear. lol well, it's all good. so long i don't get hot and bothered about it.. in fact, i'm not bothered by it at all. i took the bus again today. it always is the case.. when i'm well enough to cycle, the weather turns shitty. and if i take the bus, the weather is great and shiny.
