more elaborate synopsis of the whole trip.

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usmost of this will be point form as i'm bored of writing an essay. and it's gonna be very long.
1. reached work on friday 10. after getting my tux from the shop. then went to bank to get solo card.
2. reach work. have to start something urgent on work. then left office at 12 something. ( an email was passed around saying to all to remember passport)
3. we left office for liverpool st station at that time, we finally figured out we're going to stansted.
4. reach stansted. everybody was milling around waiting for the tix. about 37 of us.
5. as with big groups in travelling there's bound to be casualties. when we were on the train to stansted, halfway towards the airport, one girl said she forgot her passport. she left it in the office. shiiiit... then a mad scramble for passports.
6. reached the airport, the girl got left behind. gonna come the next day. one lost his bag or rather left his bag in the train. and it had his laptop on it.. there goes another. but he drove to the place where we were supposed to go that nite.
7. reached there. seemed pretty far away from civilization cos it took us about 1 hour from the airport to the chateau.
8 arrived there. was an old loooking chateau but one of the largest house i've ever seen plus fields it's just like in the anime (blood+) i've seen. it even had a well but it was covered up.
9. dinner was some goat cheese cos we're in the area famous for goat cheese. buef buergoneon or something like that. dessert was choco mousse. not sure how u spell all these fancy names. wine was bordeaux and anjou. red and white all around.
vodkha as well. coke.
10. next day was continental breakfast. - er.. i didnt know conti meant no meat but just huge croissants. bah humbugs.
11. we went for a walk to the nearby lake( 45 mins walk.) i took the bike. hehe
12. there was a pool there. with a big mushroom. i think a bee stung me . shit.. it went into my board shorts(those with wax comb)(one of the most expensive shorts i've ever bought).
13. went back and then prepared for tux evening. woah.. i like this part. it was like a gathering of the mafiosos. ( we have a big variety of ppl from different countries which made it even more authentic. sommore it was in a chateau in the middle of nowhere. lol .
14. we've got godfathers from iran, poland, germany, various parts of spain, the english, russian, ukrainian, indian, americans, france, south africa, ireland, jewish and of course me... malaysia. :P
15. we're all in tuxes and sunnies.. ooooo.. i like. women were in evening gowns.
16. dinner was dunno what and dunno what. salmon with jelly, then pork with sausages and very SALTY asparagus wrapped in bacon.
17. they partied till 6 am. and never slept. i slept at 3 am. too tired.
18. i woke up at 7. they were still awake. scary. then we went to a vineyard area called anjou. so drank a little bit more.. most of us were unable to drink due to the fact that most of them were hungover.
19. then we had beef barbequed and pork and sausages. woah. anyways, ended the trip with going to the airport. that's about it then.
20. oh yeah .. one of the americans caused a scandal with the spanish family cos the american did the russian and what's more it was done on the spanish's bed. ( not sure if that's the whole story but i suspect that's the truth. cos the spanish's bedroom was right beside mine. but i was too pissed to hear anything. lol
but like they say , all's well ends well.
ta.

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. T_T. (i shouldn't have woken up so early) 3. i went back to the embassy after lunch. took warren st to green park. it was stated severe delays but when i went on it.. it was quite quick. 4. i was the second in line to collect visa. not ready.. T_T.... he said.. 5 mins.. they are gonna print it now... 5. i waited.... 5 mins.... 10 mins.... 15 ...

my boring weekend

i went to camden on sat and almost got rammed by a stupid green car on the way back. anyways, i was bored. and it was a nice day. don't know anything bout tour de france, or wimbledon. took my bike out. and cycled down towards camden. it was a change from cycling to work. i spent £7 in sainsburys cos they were having a half price sale on john west's tuna in cans. the usual price is about £3.19. bought some stuffs.. ( coulnd't buy a lot cos i don't wanna ride home on a punctured bike) but i bought too many as well. i bought jaffa biscuit for 69p. for 24 pieces. finished it b4 sat was over. took some photos on the way. went into o2 to see if i could get any nice phones for free. turned out that i couldn't because i havent paid any phone bills since last year. looks like i'm gonna hvae to switch my sim card to a pay as you go thingy. then i went to the outdoor emporium to take a look at the karrimor travelpack. i dunno why .. that one seems to call out to me other...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
