This park i went on saturday. wanted to see what was so nice about this park.As usual, i stopped at the wrong bus stop. had to walk about 45 mins to the park. (30 mins was spent in pc world high street kensington i think)
This is the map of the park. it IS big. I dont really like parks and i have no ideas why i went. but i went anyways. it was cold but sunny. i bought some snacks from a nearby somerfield. brought it to the park to have a relaxing afternoon. It was only spoilt by some ppl who smoked in the park. the benches are not really that close to each other but of course la. the smoke does go everywhere. i know cos i used to do that. hahaha. it wasnt hard to find cos all i had to do was get to the nearest station which i think it was high street kensington and then i took a look at the map. and there it showed holland park. ( i think why i wanted to go was also because i watched too much eureka seveN. )to be exact, i got in the entrance opposite waitrose. or odeon if that's a better landmark.
there IS one thing special about this park. ( this is the only park i've actually tried to find something special about) the benches are donated by ppl who wanted the memories of their loved ones who used to frequent the park. it is a good concept i think. there was no lack of benches. there were cute doggies running around. nice sunshine.
spent like i think about 3 hours there before i thought i was gonna freeze. then i made my way home. wanted to go to the museums. but heck, i'm not a historical person. unless someone from history gives me some inheritance. so i didnt. maybe next time.
it's a 4 day week. and the next week. and i think the week after next next.
happy easter. ! 4 days from now.
