edinburgh by bus - £56.50

booked my ticket. hope it's gonna be a normal journey.. i got 8 hours on the bus. one way..
so i will have to conserve my ipod batteries. maybe the place i will be going has a computer to plug in my usb cable.
hamburger union on monday. and on tuesday. hope not today.
weird dreams as usual.
found that if i turn my fan on me when i sleep, i tend to cough. must put a bowl of water on the heater so it doesnt get too dry.
wowed 1 and half hour for the past week. means i havent wowed for a long time.
KFC for lunch today.
when walking past the science thingy.. they usually have a free stress test. but this time.. the girl was bold.
went straight up and said. stop. u HAVE to come in. lol.
we just walked past ignoring her. but u gotta give it to her, she was assertive.

bloody cold in the morning today. foggy all the way. but lucky the wind wasnt too strong. so not THAT cold. it was 0 degrees. in the bbc website.

tonite will be the same.
bah. that's all for today. dunno what to type.. office had a power cut and the post i did wasnt saved.
i write my posts on a notepad everyday. but my work was find cos i have this habit of pressing ctrl+S each time i finish a line of code.
so i got a brain block on what i typed and what i wanted to type.

oh had another pizza for breakfast.
note to self: the chicago's deep dish pizza is a farce. the dough is so thick that it takes up 3 quarters of the deep thingy.
%$£^£"%$£. i didnt realize it last time cos i've always burnt it up beyond any recognition on the microwave. or the oven for that matter.
lol.

Jenni's been to Edinburgh for £20 for four people by Megabus. Best book early!

Even iPod naysayers like me would believe that it could last longer than 8 hours no? ;)

Happy holidays.
moo: 8 hours by bus.. never again unless i have to. lol
going there was okays. but my friend was late in picking me up.
coming back was worse... came back had to go to work the same morning.

piffles : i think so .. trains were like £180++, flights i didnt even check. :P

jon: mine was a last min deal. so that's why. didnt really use ipod for long cos there was this lady that i was able to chat with. made the trip a little less boring.

to all : happy new year 07 and may ur dreams come through this year or the year after :PPPP

living on a budget

£4 per weekday and £10 for groceries for the week. that's it's gonna be till sept. hopefully.. until i start to try shopping again .. -_- so far for the last few days has been okays. spent like £8 for groceries for this week. some beef, some chicken wings( which i completely finished during the weekend) which included half a kg of fruit and nut cadbury. today was 2 for £2 sausage rolls from tescos. nothing else happened. my friend's father died of lung cancer. i wish them condolences. it was so sudden apparently. but i have had no contact with them since i left KL/miri. i heard it from another friend who was in miri who msged me asking me about my blood pressure as he said he was scared now. i asked. scared of dying ? lol. anyways, it's best to be preventing than trying to cure it when it comes.. so i really have to switch back to no salt diet.. T_T kk that's it. season 6 of 24 was like erm... okays... it was basically a repeat of the plots.. hope that's the la...

brussel sprouts are in season i think. they are going for 1 pack for 52p. it used to be like 1/4 of the pack for £1. but now seems to be cheaper. oh yeah. it seems to be siu pak choi. but it just didnt opened. anyways, that nite i went to morrisons, to buy more food. but when i walked halfway i found out that i didnt bring my wallet.. ^$£"%$£^%$ but lucky i had coins in my pocket. all i had was 96p. how sad.. lol . i went to the store to look for nga choi. er.. whta they call them here.. i think some sort of beans.. they usually sell them for 45p. i wanted it cos i cooked chicken rice mah. but then they didnt have it. and they have mixed stir fried thingy which was £1.29. poor ole me didnt buy it cos i didnt have enough lol so i hunted for cheap stir fry vege, the sprouts looked like a cheaper alternative. well.. i bought it. cooked it ate it with chicken rice. next thing i knew.. i was down with a bloody cough. ugh.. lotsa phlegm. not sure how i got it.. but that aside, i've ...

Ultimate Burger. ( sorry no pics)

Tried something new for lunch the other day. namely ultimate burger. . it's a tad pricey when compared to the burgers i had in macdonalds or burger king. :P £7 per medium sized burger. i had just the minted lamb burger(£6.95), and some spicy onion rings.(£1.95) in the ultimate burger store in tottenham court road. it was not too bad. a pretty nice setting too. all u have to do is queue up order ur food, then get a number then u put it on the table. they have sort of a hanger for u to put ur numbers to. just like in those kind of chinese open air market in petaling jaya give u number then they come look for u.. but this one they come to look for u with ur food almost about 2 mins after u've sat down and they would ask u if u liked ur food. gripes about the food. lamb burger seems small.. but its' about the size of a chargrilled flame burger in burgerking. taste wise, very tender lamb meat with mint sauce. it's nice. :P the onion rings are a different matter though . for ...
