nokia 6300 from CMC markets

woot !! i got my phone yesterday !! it is black in colour and had the cmc market software installed and unlocked ( not sim locked)
so it's good. i can finally retire my nokia 7280 ( incidentally i think it was the first cam phone in the market that i bought years ago in bangsar for about RM 1.8k)

this new phone is slim and a little larger than my ipod nano. bigger screen. the cover for the battery is metal. which is a new to me. because all the nokia i've ever had came with a plastic cover for the battery slide cover thingy.

camera is alright. a little slow so the subject must be still for the photo to be taken.

the menu buttons are a little too small for my hands.. since i've got big hands.. so pressing the menu buttons are like a chore.
other than that.. i have no ideas how to use the phone.
it came with a microsd card.. 128mb .. omg.. that's sooooo small...
anyways, not like i'm gonna use it for anything else

now i think i should be able to take photos with the phone which will enable me to put more photos up.
walking around with the big cam in london is too.... erm.. dunno..

alrighty..
and last nite i played the 0.25 cents buy in + rebuy satellite to another satellite to the LAPT san jose thingy .
i just barely made it to the top 17 .. out of 150 ppl i didn't really wanted to play the game because it was late. 130am. hehe.
so i unregistered and got myself about 8.88W$. ( which there's a site that will buy the W$ for cash)

exmember: hmm i did a google search on what was W$ used for.. then it came up.. so i took a look then i did another search to see which other sites that do the exchange.
the site u listed seems good. :D

I remember seeing an ad about CMC Markets giving out free mobile phones in May...but dont recall the specifics. Do you know how to claim the free mobile? Thanks!

to claim the promotion, just sign up and put £200 minimum into the spread bet acct, and then make 2 trades, then the phone will get sent to you in about 2-4 weeks.
in my case i got it in about 2 1/2 weeks i think. after i made the second trade.
each trade means u buy and close your position. so i bought and sold twice.
but of course, the trade might be a bad trade and one can lose money in the trade so becareful though.

got my japanese visa.

1 year multiple entries. each entry 90 days. nice ! anyways, i think i did mention that japanese efficiency was also seen in the embassy ???!!?? alright, please scratch that. the time i went was early in the morning and i was one of the first person there so service was fast. i found the service to be comparable to other embassies where they are not really that quick.. well.. can't blame them just that it was my bad luck that my visa wasn't printed. 1. i went in the morning at 10 at stated on the paper. 2. she tried to find it.. couldn't find my passport. and then she said it's not ready yet.. please come back in the afternoon. my boring weekend

i went to camden on sat and almost got rammed by a stupid green car on the way back. anyways, i was bored. and it was a nice day. don't know anything bout tour de france, or wimbledon. took my bike out. and cycled down towards camden. it was a change from cycling to work. i spent £7 in sainsburys cos they were having a half price sale on john west's tuna in cans. the usual price is about £3.19. bought some stuffs.. ( coulnd't buy a lot cos i don't wanna ride home on a punctured bike) but i bought too many as well. i bought jaffa biscuit for 69p. for 24 pieces. finished it b4 sat was over. took some photos on the way. went into o2 to see if i could get any nice phones for free. turned out that i couldn't because i havent paid any phone bills since last year. looks like i'm gonna hvae to switch my sim card to a pay as you go thingy. then i went to the outdoor emporium to take a look at the karrimor travelpack. i dunno why .. that one seems to call out to me other...

rain rain rain ...

i went to thomas global exchange on sunday. there was a long queue just to change money. so indeed my recommendation of the place was correct. it was in a quiet place. but it looked alright. there were lotsa ppl. and ppl who were walking past were very intrigue by this long line in front of a money changer. that's about it. i still need to change a little bit more. so i'll wait for my next round b4 i go there again. it was pissing rain outside. i thought i'd have to wait till it settled down. but as it is with london's rain, it just is not like the torrential downpour back in msia. lighting and thunder. yippee.. i used to hide whenever i hear thunder and see the lightning. and then i grew out of being scared of it. now i'm scared of a different kind of thing. that aside, nothing else is special. i brought food to work today. from the baguette i bought from somerfield on sunday. it was 62p for 4 wholemeal ones. i stuffed it with corned beef i bought from sainsbury. a...
