Living in London

1. broke my finger - have pins sticking into my bone to straighten it. gonna be there for 4-5 weeks. (there goes my full karate training) 2. went to switzerland. - bought 60 francs worth of choco bars. 3. moving house to the south east of london. a very nice place even though it's quite a way from office. 4. office is moving as well. 5. have no time to clean my room. 6. summer is hot. well barely. 7. reading intelligent investor by benjamin graham. 8. ... nothing else i think .

3 months... or more.. i'm now dabbling in shares. geez.. missed that barclay's share opportunity. at 50p .. should have bought.. would have made like 5X the money .. well i guess if it's not yours.. then not la. anyways. still alive. and barely breathing. 1. vertigo. - must be the chinese mushrooms. 2. exchange rates were at 5.2 .. which tells me i went back home at a terrible time. 3. karate is still good. 4. gotta find a place to move soon. 5. forgot to go to my chemist to get my meds.. update on myself. being busy with karate and work and studies( which is not very much i only do my assignments on the day i need to hand it in .. T_T) i'm still alive and well. My last time in doing an impulse buy was when i wanted a new computer to play Rose Online. even though i had a intel p3 then it wasn't enough. so i went to the computer fair that was held in some school halls every weekend and bought my AMD 64 3000. it has come a long way since then. in its final days of serving me, i had it OC'ed to 2300 Mhz instead of the 2k mhz which one was it i can't really remember. i needed them to play those HD animes. but it wasn't sufficient. even though my AGP card was quite good. X1950 ATi. which i think costed me 150-170£ ..*gulps* which helped me when i was playing wow.. i previously had another Ati or nvidia which the fan stopped working that's why everytime i played wow it hung.. okok enough about the old one. ahh those were the good old days. news of recent collective redundancy about to affect me has changed my perspective on whether i want to continue staying in england. i'm not sure yet if i will be made redundant yet. but with that note, i've put my cv up to monster, jobserve and i forgot where else. i think last time what i did to get the job was to apply directly. because job agents cost a bomb. which reminds me i should go to reed to check. if all else fails, i really really want to try out working/living in japan. but alot of ppl will say it will be a waste if i just go since i still have 2 and half years to go get my PR. if they don't change the rules again that is. so i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. i tried to apply for the jobs in japan before about 2 years back but then i withdrew my application because i was scared. okies. 1. i want to go japan. scared i too old to go there and work later. 2. i'm currently having a new thing sorted out for me if i don't go to this new thing, t...

OMg.. it died.. i came back froma friend's place one day and it just stopped working.. and i had like 80GB of PHOTOS !!! UWAAAAAAAAAA my documents from when i started with my computer is gone too.. sigh .. lets hope the shop can recover my data.

i went to the kyokushinkai karate lesson and then found it very tiring. ( coming from a person who never does any exercises) it was fun. ( well if u call working the whole body till the point of exhaustion fun) learnt the usual mawashi, or somethings.. garis , jo dan, cho dan ukes. too many names .. can't remember them . but i think it's pretty good. classes are about 20-25 ppl per class. we do the usual basics( kihon) to ensure we are able to do other stuffs. they train like 4 times a week(4 different locations in london). the sensei's pretty cool! :D Kyokushinkai London anyways, just something to show the blog is still alive until i manage to get my stuffs in order.

litu came back to uk with a whopping bill from new york and still reeling from the shock. how can i spend that much in just 6 days ??? more than 30 pieces of clothing from outlets/fifth avenue including ralph lauren, fcuk, dkny, ck, nautica and some accessories from abercrombie, ck, oakleys, tumi, crazy.. need to save up. anyways, i can't believe i spent that much. my friend asked me about true religion, seven of all mankind jeans, rock and republic jeans. dunno i see them like at the price of 150 USD each.. ( and that's the discounted price) i would have bought it if it was the start of my shopping trip.. but i've only noticed it towards the end of my shopping trip that there were places that sell those jeans. sigh .. next time anyways, need to eat grass and rocks for the whole next month .. *cries*

I've been lazy these past few months. i've stopped cycling to work since i started karate. it's lucky karate is near to my office so i can walk there after work. it's been good. though i've had some ppl giving me weird looks saying violence ??!!?? geeez... well i figured its more fun and better than going to the gym. so i paid 35 a month to join up. it's 35 a year for insurance. if i don't do it now, i may never learn.. i got my materials from open university as well. i'm gonna start a course this oct. i need to find out how to study part time as well as karate. i am planning to have a holiday every month for the rest of the year. which i've already done 1 out of 4. this month will be the second holiday. now now, before saying i've got a lot of holidays, i'm still getting 25 days. in comparison with msia, it's about the same some even less. i get about 8 bank holidays a year + 25 holidays = about 33 days holiday in msia we get about 16 d...

Munich first. Nymphenburg Palace or Schloss Nymphenburg litu went with a few friends this time to germany and walked till his feet was REALLY tired. on the right is the marienplatz in munich. st paul's ? or something.. the most beloved church in munich. apparently there are still bodies buried under the church cos it used to be a cemetery. the other one is marienplatz at night. some castle ludwig the second stayed in before he built Neuschwanstein Castle. Neuschwanstein was supposedly the model that the disney's castles was modeled after.

In Remembrance of Ooki(Mandy) 12:30am (Australian Time) on 24 July 2008 I first chatted with her back in the summer of 97 when i was in malaysia. she used the irc nick of ooki and i've always remembered her as ooki sakuragi. (blame it on the slam dunk anime) I remember that she was a vibrant, and cheeky girl and also a very tall girl ( IRC = image swapping = a/s/l) hehe. methinks she used to go to the undernet irc servers and hung out at #miri. or #mamak but i forget the details. After the IRC fever slowly edged away, we grew up. i guess. IRC was a thing of the past. We caught up again i think about few years ago when i think i came across her blog or something via something.. and i STILL can't remember. (i must be starting to forget stuffs) then i got her msn then we chatted then google. Her life was a journey of interesting sorts. i heard about her travels, her love for the canon d, and anime bokura ga ita and kenshin. she wanted to go nepal and china and trek back to nature ...

wow.. it's been quite a while since i last blogged. i haven't been doing anything at all. i'm gonna try to start a course in oct with open university to get something out of life. as well as planning to take a few holidays starting from sept. i guess by september i will have more photos to be seen. otherwise i think i have a book that shows a rough history of london. maybe i should go do that. okies. this weekend if weather is good . i'll go and take out my camera. i think it's rusting at the moment. nothing else. i've been busy with work. i closed my capitalspreads spread betting account. ( registering a lost of 98£ ) lol i got 300 fpp from pokerstars.com and apparently it's not a valid base fpp for me to claim my bonus deposit.. T_T i was like WTF ?? FPP is FPP right ?? anyways, the extra 7 £ i put in for a play in the poker game was lost in about 3 weeks. because of one night of insanity i go join the bigger stakes sit and gos.. roast lamb is always good....

this should have brought my storage space up to 2 TERABYTES !!! but i chickened out due to the price and money constraints. anyways, i bought this for about 42 and 1 TB hdd for 110 totaled up to 152£ . not cheap. i think it's cheaper back in msia. anyways, maybe it's the time of the year again where i find myself interested in computer stuffs again. that being said. i didn't know formatting a 1TB hdd takes about 3 hours.. or maybe less.. but i know it was LONG !!! so far no problems. i just slip the hdd in to the slot. and connect it.. and my computer detected it as 931.50GB . okay.. so i bought 1 TB drive and then i got 1 more slot free.. so i took my 500gb out from the coolermaster ext casing and slipped that into the icybox as well. there whaddya know.. it works too. so i save one usb port and one plug point. my usb ports are all used up. i have an old casing so i can only manage to use 4 usb ports that comes with the mobo behind the comp. 1 is used by the ext hdd. 1 is ...

woot. this was a while back but because we had a private party there. and check out the website. it was fantastic imean from the photos on the site itlooked good. even tom cruise the last samurai party, and scarlett johansson birthday party and etc etc.. really posh ! 0 to Tasty in 70 Seconds was contemplating what i could put in the office's microwave which is cheap and easy with absolutely no nutrition at all. at first i took the sausage rolls, but i saw it wasn't recommended for microwave ovens. so drat. put that down. saw the chicken and stuffs.. they were like 2.89 for 1 but serves 2. but because i don't share my food i gotta eat them in one sitting so that's out too. anyways, bought that. smells alright. did feel a little rubbery ( just a teeeny weeny bit rubbery) but had cheese and tomato ketchup prepacked. 190g . not too little not too much. i made the call to the american embassy today. called from an o2 pay as you go. it was either Fishworks or Orrery on marylebone high street for dinner when my friend told me to look for places to eat at a last minute. doing a google search places to eat marylebone high street came up with londontown.com's listing of these 2 places. when we walked in there .. they asked if we had reservations.. ( i forgot.. london is a place where reservations needs to be made for dinner) anyways, they had lotsa free tables. ppl came trickling in at about 8ish. i went for a walk with my flatmate to the park since it was a nice and warm sunday. it was nice. i guess. nothing much .. just the walking made my feet ache. ( i didn't wear proper walking shoes. lol) it had 3 ponds. men only. mixed. and girls only. ( we could never find the girl's pond.) i wonder where's that hidden. rumour has it that the men's pond is frequented by gay ppl. ( nothing against them. some of them do have good bodies). we walked up the hill and it sorta could see the skyline of london.. it was a good photo opportunity but i didn't bring my camera. aww.. next time maybe. there were ppl flying kites and some ppl flying something like a miniature parachute. ate some iced lollies. then had kebab for dinner.. then poker again. but yup. hampstead heath is a nice park to go to if u wanna take a look at london's buildings :D
